Time ~Lunch

Beidou's pov:
I can't believe I get to go somewhere with ningguang alone..even if it is just for a project, maybe I can get to know more about her.
*"Hey guyyyss wanna know something I heard during alchemy"

^"ooh what?"

*"Beidou is going on a date with ningguangggg"

"WHAT NO"

#^"oooh"

"Guys it's not a date, we're just studying"

*"Sureee, anyways, wanna hear even better news"

"What?"

*"I got a job at the new café that beidou is taking ningguang to"

"No...."

*"Yes..."

I couldn't believe it, my one chance to get to know ningguang and I'll have xiangling breathing down my neck the whole time.

Time skip~ last period (beidou has a spare so she has a free period last class)

Luckily I had a spare last class so I had some time to go relax in the library until the day was over, maybe I could use this time to catch up on Vera's melancholy my favorite series.
"Beidou?" A familiar voice asked from behind one of the bookshelves, it was ningguang.
"Oh hi, didn't expect to see you here" her eyes sparkled as the sun hit her face.
"Yeah I don't have a class last period so I decided to see what books this school had."
"Oh I recommend Vera's melancholy, it's my favourite"
"Oh mine too I've read it before"
She likes books too? "Oh wow I've never met anyone else who likes the same books I do"
"Yeah I used to read it to my sister every night when she would get sick" I noticed her eyes tearing up as she spoke.
I wiped her eyes as she continued, "I'm sorry, my sister qiqi has an illness that makes her really sick sometimes, so she doesn't have very many friends cause she's always gone for long periods of time and it's really hard for both of us" at this point she was on the floor crying, I grabbed her and held her in my arms. I wanted to stay like this forever, holding her in my arms forever. "It's ok you don't have to apologise, whenever you need any help i'll be there just text me" ningguang nodded and layed her head on my shoulder. I stayed there as long as she needed, telling her that I can watch qiqi whenever if she wanted.
The day was over and I was at home trying to process what just happened.
