A bad beidou x ningguang fanfic

Ningguang's pov:
"Qiqi are you almost ready?"
"Yeah I just gotta put my shoes on"
"Alright well come do it now cause it's almost 6 and we have to go meet my friend from school"
Friend...that's what she was right? Nothing more nothing less, when I broke down earlier today I felt warm and loved in her arms and stayed there a little longer than I should have, but I don't think she's into girls anyways.
"Done!" Qiqi exclaimed as she finished putting on her shoes,
"Alright let's get going".

Beidou's pov:
I hope ningguang is alright after what happened today, should I ask her about it? No, I don't think she's want me too, what if it was just a one time thing that she didn't want to remember. Oh no it's already 5:57!

Ningguang's pov:
"Ok we're here! Hmm where should we sit...oh! There's a table in the corner there with three chairs" I tried to sound as lively as possible so qiqi didn't get bored with us.
"Hey ningguang!" Beidou says as she walks toward me, she was really beautiful with the sun shining on her face- no, she doesn't like you.
"Hey beidou! This is my younger sister qiqi" I said as I guestured to qiqi.
"Hi!" Qiqi says with a smile,
"Hi qiqi!" Beidou says, matching her energy.

"HELLO! Welcome to the liyue café!", A server with blue short hair says excitingly, " would you like to order anything? We have a discount on Dango milk today"
"Ning can I get Dango milk?" Qiqi asks,
"Yes, I would like one too"
"Make that three" beidou chimes in.
"Allrigghhtt!" The waiter says winking at beidou before leaving, why did that wink make me jealous?

5 minute time skip~

Beidou's pov:
Xiangling came back with our drinks and leaves swiftly after, almost like she wanted us to have more time together. Some time passes and we are nearing an end to our project,
"Ning I don't feel to well could we go home?" Qiqi says in a sickly tone, I look at ningguang's worried face as she says "of course let's go", she looks at me sadly and I nod and smile.
We leave the café, leaving money on the table and I walk ningguang and qiqi back home.

"Here come in", ningguang says opening her house doors, "you can sit on the couch while I go out qiqi to bed" I did as she said and waited until she came back downstairs.
"I'm so sorry beidou, i think qiqi is getting sick again-" ningguang says holding back tears, she takes a deal breath and starts speaking again
"My mother is always gone for weeks at a time so I'm basically like a mother to qiqi and I just don't know how I'm going to help her and do school at the same time- *sniff*" I can tell she's about to break down again.

Ningguang's pov:
I'm trying my best to not cry infront of beidou again, but I can feel my chest getting heavier and heavier. Suddenly I feel warm arms around me and I break down, beidou holds me as we lay together on the couch.
"Can we stay like this forever?" I ask, I feel beidou hug me tighter and nod. I feel so safe in her arms, and eventually we both fall asleep.

Time skip~ morning (Saturday)

Ningguang's pov:
Throughout the night beidou and I took turns checking up on qiqi, I never knew how sweet she was with kids. As I cooked breakfast I couldn't help but think about last night, did she love me too or was she just comforting me because she's a good friend- hold on, 'love me too?'....did I love beidou?
"Uh, you're burning that egg..." Beidou says from around the corner. I look down to see a black smoking mess on the pan "OH MY UH-" I quickly threw it in the trash and started cooking again, maybe I was overthinking my relationship with beidou.
