"Ugh..." Pansy groaned, as she sat up slowly, holding her head. She was dizzy, and felt a little nauseous. "Ow..."
She opened her eyes, looking around as she tried to figure out where she was. Her vision was blurry at first, but soon cleared, as she looked at her surroundings. She was in a small room with no windows, and a single bared door. It was filled with cobwebs, and a few rats scurried past, making their way into holes in the walls.
"Where am I..." she asked herself in a whisper, looking around the room she was tapped in, something suddenly catching her eye.
Pansy gasped, seeing Poppy and Branch on the floor next to her, both of them still unconscious.
Quickly, she jumped to her feet, running over to Poppy.
"Poppy!" she yelled, dropping down beside her daughter, and shaking her gently. She turned to Branch, shaking him a bit, trying to wake the two trolls up, but they didn't move. "Branch!"
She looked back and forth between the two of them, panicking, her heart racing in terror.
"Come on, guys," Pansy pleaded, shaking them back and forth. "Wake up! Please, wake up!"
No matter what she did... Poppy and Branch just wouldn't wake up. Were they even breathing? She couldn't tell. It didn't look like they were...
Quickly, Pansy grabbed Branch's wrist, feeling for a pulse.
She sighed with relief, happy to know the two trolls were still alive.
"Oh... you're awake," she suddenly heard. She gasped, startled by the voice, as she looked up, seeing the head hunter standing on the other side of the cell door.
"Let us out of here!" she demanded, rising up to her feet, as she gave him the death glare, but he just chuckled at her, shaking his head slightly.
"Don't worry," he said with a smug grin. "You won't be in there for long. I've got plans for all of you. And the blue one..." He pointed to Branch, who was still unconscious on the floor. "Goes first."
He laughed maniacally, beginning to walk away.
Pansy watched after him, until he was completely out of sight, and then turned, looking back at the two trolls.
"Branch? Poppy?" she said softly, kneeling back down next to them, trying again to wake them up, but nothing worked. They just stayed asleep.
She knew there was nothing she could do. All she could do was wait until they woke up on their own, though she had no idea how long that would be, and they needed to find a way out of there as soon as possible, or they were all doomed.
