"It's ok," Branch whispered to Uueeka, as he hugged him. "I'm gonna get you out of here."

He pulled the scrapbooking scissors out of his hair, sticking them into the lock of the cage.

"Ok... almost... got..."

Suddenly the scissors snapped, breaking in the lock.

"Frosting!" Branch shouted out in anger. Then he looked at Uueeka, petting his beak gently with his hand.

"Don't worry," he said softly. "I'm not leaving you. I promise."

Just then an alarm began to go off, the inter-calms blaring with the head hunter's voice.

"All hunters on high alert!" the voice shouted through the inter-calm. "Find that troll!"

Branch's ears drooped, as he listened to the voice.

"Double frosting," he muttered.

Poppy sat on the floor, her head buried in her knees, as she sobbed softly, her heart aching at the thought of never seeing Branch again. Pansy sat next to her, hugging her comfortingly, trying to help her feel better.

"I want that troll found, now! He can not escape!" the voice on the inter-calm yelled, echoing loudly in the small room the two trolls were trapped in.

Pansy and Poppy both gasped, looking up from where they sat on the floor.

Poppy's ears perked up, her mouth falling open in shock at what she was hearing.

"Mom... did... did you hear that?" she said softly.

Pansy looked at her daughter, her eyes wide, as she nodded slowly. Poppy smiled, as she wiped her tears away.

"Branch is alive..." she said softly. "But..." Her smile faded. "They're after him... we have to get out of here! We have to save him!"

She looked around for a way to escape, finally looking up at the tunnel they had fallen through to get there. Poppy smiled again, getting a brilliant idea. "Bingo..."
