moony why do they hate me?

it was a cold day out in the quidditch pitch, the slytherin team were looking fierce. regulus my younger brother was the seeker on the team,                                                                                                           "bloody hell padfoot! its freezing out here!" said moony gripping his scarf around his shoulders. the pale boys cheeks were a deep rose colour because of the cold even his nose was a little red. i took off my quidditch jersey and threw it at the shivering boy. he gave me a confused look.              "pads your gonna freeze if you don't wear it! and-" i put my finger on his lips to make him shut up.                                                                                                                                                                                                 "ill borrow one from James, he has three of them" i said taking my finger away. Remus stood there and just looked at me, once he finally agreed i ran to the changing room. James and peter were already dressed all i needed was a jersey from James. as we were walking out of the dorms a hand rested on my shoulder, i looked behind me and there he was, mothers favourite child....regulus.                                                                                                                                                                        "hey Sirius, have you heard from our mother yet?" he asked fixing his messy black hair (shorter than mine) part of me wanted to tell him and blame him but the other decided not to because it would start an argument between me and my mother. i looked at him with a straight face                "no word yet but ill let you know if she says anything" i hate lying to him, he's my little brother.      "black are you-" said a familiar voice from behind. James and i turn around and see Lucius.  his slick blond hair was greased to one side of his head and that smug face of his twisted into a mischievous smirk.                                                                                                                                                                "well well well, if it isn't the black family's biggest regret and potter, the pathetic excuse for a wizard" i let out a snarl while James glared at him.                                                                                                 "watch your moth Malfoy, we know our place it'd be best if u stuck to yours"  James growled at the blond.  my brother pushed passed us and dragged Lucius away.  why did he act like this? was it because of snivlous? who knows.

10 mins later.                                                                                                                                                                              we were on the pitch, i see ramus and Lilly up in the stands, Lilly had a number written on her cheek but i couldn't make it out, my jersey was way too big on Remus but he looked good in it maybe even better than me..... not possible but hey. as the game went on the slitheryn team were getting more and more violent, yes they don't play fair but today was plain mad.                        regulus came flying at me full speed almost knocking me off my broom a couple times,                     "haha that pathetic!" shouted Lucius when i missed the goal,  i turned around and gave him the finger, the others started to target me after that. even my brother. i couldn't feel more betrayed than right now.  my own brother was trying to hurt me, was this some kind of sick joke?

almost near the end, James was about to catch the snitch when regulus barged into my broom, i started falling then held on to the wood, my hands were about to slip when i felt someone pulling me up, it was James. as i got safely back on to my broom regulus caught the snitch.             WOOOHOOO screamed their fans in the crowed, i flew down to the grass at the bottom, so disappointed in my brother.

in the changing rooms everyone was mourning our defeat, regulus came running in.                           "hey sirius did you-" i looked away from him after covering his mouth                                                         "why the hell did you push me off my broom?" i asked calmly, he stayed quite. "you are my fucking brother, blood before anyone else! you know that! you've known that since u were born" he stayed silent, he couldn't even look at me.                                                                                                           "it was just a game sirius" he said. my anger couldn't be held in anymore.                                                " YOU PUSHED ME OFF MY BROOM! I COULDVE BEEN HURT OR KILLED, oh and by the way mother did write a letter, she said that she only wants you back for summer.... i always knew she had a favourite. i just thought it might have been the oldest" my words came out nat being able to be held back. regulus looked as if he was going to cry, I didn't care, he was the only one i thought he accepted me but not any more.

At the dorms
I was sitting in the common room with moony who was reading a book next to the fire place. My head was spinning with betrayal and regret.
"Pads u look sad what's up?" Asked moony with sympathy leaking through his voice.                          I turned to my best mate, I wasn't able to look at him. I didn't like him seeing me like this. i clenched my fist.                                                                                                                                                                     "my brother betrayed me today, he was acting as if he didn't care about me, as if we weren't related, he was acting like our mother" I said holding back tears and trying not to let Remus see.   "look padfoot he was probably in a mood, you know regulus loves you" he said placing a hand on my shoulder. I didn't believe him. we stayed silent a couple minutes. not knowing what to say. i was the one to break it                                                                                                                                             "Remus? why do they hate me?"
