Hey everyone! The Author here! I'm going to try and start writing a bit more since I kept y'all waiting for so long! But I'm running out of ideas, wow washed up at the age of 14 so sad. (If anyone got that reference)

She sucked in a breath before she faced me
"Y/n"
Keefe's POV
'Y/n, y/n what a beautiful name. It fits her too. Wait-what did I just think?' Keefe's mind was swarming with unanswered questions and new possibilities.
I was brought back to reality when the h/c girl snapped her fingers in front of me.
"Keefe! Pay attention!" Her voice was stern but without an edge, softer.
"Sorry, what were you saying?"
She sighed as if repeating herself was like lifting 290 lbs, but she shook her head and put on a tired smile.
"I said, 'do you have anywhere to go? Or did you come here on a whim?' But obviously that was a stupid question."
Y/n's POV
*mental face palm*
'Why did I say that? That was so mean! I mean, he wasn't paying attention and it's been a long day. Hopefully he'll understand-wait a gosh darn minute! When did I start to care?'
I mental rolled my eyes at myself, it was stupid to think that I cared about this messy haired boy I just met
(NOT THE HAIR!!!!)
I quickly stood up, I need to clear my head.
"I'm going out, stay here."
And with that I left before he could respond. I didn't want to talk, I wanted to be alone, like always.
Being by myself was comfortable, and me and loneliness go way back. To before I was born.
Sad if you really think about it.
But life isn't perfect and I'm doing the best I can as a 16 year old can.
The darkened as I ran from rooftop to rooftop.
The quiet sound of my boots on the shingles was something I loved to hear.
Like a scene from a movie.
Like Gnomeo and Juliet, that was my favorite scene of the whole movie.
It was cloudy tonight, so the moon was dimmer than normal and I had no stars to guide me.
I was completely alone. But that's how it's always been, just me, myself and I.
