It was finally the day you were gonna go to space, you were waiting for this your whole childhood and everything was going absolutely perfect...

.. until..

"All of the crewmates stop what you're doing and listen, please! We've found out some errors occurred not a long time ago. With this situation our contact may be cut off soonly for some time, so, we are begging you for your own good to fix the ship and keep everything going nicely, those will be your tasks. We also wanted to inform you that there might be an imposter in the ship because this couldn't have happened on its own, out of nowhere!! Stay sa-".

After hearing that everyone started panicking and sweating through their suits. I mean, not even the second day and your life could already be in danger? That's.... incredebly unfortunate. You don't know how the luckiest day of your life turned into the unluckiest.

"WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK WE'RE ALL GONNA FUCKING DIE!?!?!? THE FIRST DAY TOO?? DID NO ONE ACTUALLY DO A SECURITY CHECK BEFORE WE GOT ON HERE IM ACTUALLY GONNA GO CRAZY?!"

A crewmate in white suit with short curly hair said right before they got so panicked that they started stuttering and walking around in circles until they fell down. "Okay, well was lame. " another person said aimed towards the injured amd panicked crewmate.

As much as it seemed silly to you, you were clearly already bothered by the situation and the negative energy it bought and you didn't want to just watch as it all slowly adds on and on.

"Hey could you actually shut up, there are more important and urgent things we have to do right now, mocking others won't help us right now.." you said clearly upset and annoyed..

"Whatever." the crewmate said and left the other crewmate who was still on the ground.

"Thanks.. I'm J by the way." they said as they stood up after waiting a second for you to help them but guess you just didn't get the hint..

"I'm (y/n), but that doesn't really matter right now, does it? We should really just go and do our tasks don't you think?" You said just wanting all this to be over soon.. It really sucked how everything turned out, you thought.
"Yeah sure, I guess? " said Juki and left to do tasks with their friends. At least they can sleep a little easier knowing they're not alone in this shithole.

Not a long time after, you rushed to admin to do your first task. You had to swipe your id card. "GODDAMNIT FUCK THIS" you yelled out of frustration after trying for 10 minutes to swipe the card at right speed, but that dumbass machine just loveddd making you mad didn't it..

You turned to look around and then you noticed that there was another person in the room. They were wearing a pinkish space suit and waiting for the downald to be over. They had shortish, wavy hair that didn't quite touch their shoulders but in a few months it could. They had deep black eyes that looked like you could get lost in them if you looked for too long... And you did.

You didn't notice you were staring but you were clearly staring long enough since they did notice. "Hi??? Would you mind telling me why were you staring at me for that long?" You snapped out of your state when you heard their quiet but confident voice and started blushing (from embarrassment obviously not because you think this guy's hot as hell and his voice is hot too and he just acknowledged you like girl he wants you forrea-) you stopped thinking for a second to cut off those thoughts.

Two seconds passed and you realized you were, in fact, really staring, "Oh god I'm so so sorry!" you said, still very embarrassed. "C-calm down! It's ok, really, you don't have to be so upset over it.. Anyways I'm Mars" 'ah, so that's their name.. it suits them in a way.'  "I'm (y/n), nice to meet you, Mars!" you said giving them a warm smile..

... Hey, at least you'll have friends to go through this situation with you..

It's February 29th of 2024 (actually crazy) and I tried fixing this a little because I'm supposed to be working but instead of school project inspiration I got inspiration for the amongus fanfic I made as a joke when I was like 13!!!! Fun!!!!

By the way if you didn't get why Mars told yn to calm down in my mind when I was writing that yn was literally sweating, voice wavering, and the Florence Pugh frown.. Yeah... Didn't want to add that there because I know not everyone does that and even tho this IS A JOKE I still care bout my readers😘😘😘😘
