The next morning I woke up still bruised, looking worse and pale, I had bruises on my ass, legs and, wrist from Oscar grabbing me. I got dressed, I put on a striped long sleeve shirt because I didnt want anyone to see my bruises, even though its still hot out. I was gonna put on makeup over the rest of the bruises but I was too tired.

I made my way to the kitchen, like last time everyone was in their usual spot. The santos in the living room, Cesar and Oscar at the table.
"Good morning" Oscar said,
"Morning" I mumbled trying to keep myself awake feeling weak. I dragged myself to the fridge grabbed water and a granola bar sitting at the table slumping a bit. I couldnt help but feel most eyes on me. What are they not telling me?
"That's all your gonna eat?" Oscar said with a raised eyebrow.
"Mhm" I said.
"Its too hot to wear that" Oscar said.
I didn't respond, I simply drank my water.
"You ok Nailea you don't look so good" cesar said I nodded my head as a response.
"Your gonna be hot in that today" Cesar said.
"Yeah well I can't necessarily walk around with a body full of bruises" I said in a hushed tone, Oscar looked at me with a look of anger.
They both looked at me as I got up with Cesar we made our way out. We saw the crew waiting for us. I guess they are good now.
"Hey Nai" Ruby said giving me a sad smile. "Why are you wearing that it's hot as hell"
I gave him a look, "Oh NAI IS IT THAT BAD, WHY DO YOU LOOK SO PALE?" he said stopping making everyone stop.
"Its not a big deal Ruby lets go" I said trying to walk off.
"No" Ruby said grabbing my arm making me wince.
"What was that" they all said including Cesar. Cesar knew what happened he just didnt know it bruised so bad.
"Its nothing lets go seriously guys we are gonna be late on the first day" I said hoping they'd forget about it.
We continued walking until we saw a very fimiliar red impala pull up as Monse was about to tell us something.
"Cesar, Nai lets go" he said I knew he meant business but why was I going.
"Why do I have to go" I said almost not loud enough.
"lets go" he said.
I slughshly got in the car as ruby said. "NO SHE CAN'T GO"
