Chapter 3

Jenni's pov.

I wake up and it's already 1:00. Jesus.

I slept in later than usual. I usually get up by 9:00 on weekends. I look at my phone and I see I have a text.

Jaiii: Goodmorninggg beautiful! Excited to hang out later? xx

Me: Of coursee! What movie are we seeing exactly?

Jaiii: That's for me to know and you to find out baby (; I'll pick you up at 4:00. Dress nice (; xx

Me: Ugh alright. Byee xx

I jump into the shower and do the rest of that hygienic shit. I blow dry my hair and curl it. I do my normal makeup. I decide to wear a navy blue dress with pink and peach flowers on it, a tan cardigan, and tan high heeled ankle high boots. Damn I look good.

I still have an hour to kill so I watch YouTube. I love Kian and JC's new channel.

After an hour of YouTube I hear a knock at my door. That must me Jai. I open the door and I melt inside. He looks so good. Even better than I do!

He's wearing a grey short sleeve button up, black skinny jeans, and black chuck taylors. He did his hair so he wouldn't have to wear a snapback.

"You look so beautiful Jenni! Are you ready? The movie starts soon" I nod and he takes my hand like always and we go to his car.

When we get to the movie theater Jai goes and get the tickets and I grab snacks and drinks. When he comes over to me I grab my ticket to see what we're watching. Are you fucking kidding me.

"Jai. Domenic. Brooks." I say and he smirks.

"Yes my dear?" His sloth smile creeps over his face.

"You of all people know I hate scary movies." I say.

"I know." He smiles and leads me to the theater Ouija is playing in. I feel my heart racing. Scary movies.. well.. scare the fuck outta me!

The movie is about halfway over and I have my face literally buried into Jai's chest. He keeps laughing at me and hugging me tighter for more comfort.

He kisses my forehead. "It's just a movie babe" He rubs my cheek with his thumb. He cups my face with his hand and brings my lips to his. Is this real life? Am I kissing Jai fucking Brooks right now? Wait.. IM KISSING JAI. JAI'S KISSING ME. I'm brought out of my thoughts when we realize that we need to breathe. Jai smiles his cute sloth smile at me. I feel my cheeks burn from blushing so hard.

Jai's pov.

The movie ends and we go to the car. We're both silent. Aw shit.. you fucked up Jai. Now things are awkward.

The whole car ride back to Jenni's house is silent. She won't even glance at me. I knew I shouldn't have kissed her. She doesn't have the same feelings for me.

Fuck.

When we get to Jenni's house I get out and go around and open her door for her. She grabs my hand and we go up to her door.

"Thanks for the movie Jai. You're the best. Goodnight." She smiles at me. She kisses my cheek and goes inside.

"G-goodnight." I say to no one.

Does she have feelings for me after all?

They're so cute I can't handle it xD. I'm gonna update later. Until then.. Bye xx
