Chapter 4

Jai's pov.

*Morning after the "date"*

Should I call her?

Maybe I shouldn't...

Wait..

UGH.

I shouldve never fucking kissed her. She doesn't like you Jai. She never will. She's your bestfriend.. at least I hope she still is.

I'm gonna go talk to her.

I need to tell Jenni how I feel.

Me: Hey Jenniii. Can I come over to yours? xx

Jennay: Of course you can! Come on over babe!

I wish she was calling me babe cause she likes me.. not because we're close friends..

Jenni's pov.

I'm going to tell Jai I like him.

It's now or never. I need to know how he feels.. I mean he has to feel something right? HE kissed ME last night...

Since he's coming over I might as well try to look decent. I throw on some black tight  skinny jeans, a whit crop top, and a thin
leather jacket. I straighten my hair out and apply my normal makeup.

When I finish my makeup I hear a quiet knock at the door. I run downstairs and open it to find Jai standing there with his hands in his pockets acting shy. Aw.

"Hiya" I say and hug him. He hugs back tightly, almost as if he never wants to let me go..

"So.. did you wanna talk or something?" I ask while getting us Arizona teas.

"Uh.. yeah... kinda." He says.

"Alright so what is it?" I'm getting anxious.

"About the kiss last night-"

"Jai, I like you." I interrupt him. His face goes from nervous mode to shock mode in less than a second.

"W-what?" He asks still shocked.

"I know you probably don't have the same feelings but I figured that I might as well tell you and get it over with I mean you kissed me last night and that means there must be something or maybe I'm just kidding myself there's no way you could like a girl li-" I was interrupted by lips smashing into mine. Jai's lips.

He breaks away and grins. "I like you too Jenni. That's what I came here to tell you." Now it's my turn to be shocked. Jai Domenic Brooks likes ME. JENNI. His BEST friend. This HAS to be a dream.

"Jai, am I dreaming?" I ask.

"No baby. This is real. You and me. Right here. On this couch. Right now. This is real. My feelings for you, they're real. I've wanted to tell you since the day you moved here in grade 3. You're my best friend, my love, my Jenni." I smile so big. Jai likes me back.

"You have no idea how long I've been waiting to hear you say that" I say before connecting our lips once again. God those amazing lips. They're mine now. Jai's mine now.

"So does this mean we're together?" He says with a smile.

"Yes babe. Finally" I say and smile back.

"Wanna be twitter official?" He asks with a smirk.

"Of COURSE!" I say.

We take a quick selfie of us kissing and Jai posts it to twitter.

"My baby @jenniloveA26 and I just chillin (: she so beautiful huh?" Was the caption.

Already thousands of fav/rts. A lot of positive replies... and of course there are a lot of bad replies as well. For example:

"@JaiBrooks1 @jenniloveA26 are you fucking kidding me? You can do soo much better.. like me:)"

"@JaiBrooks1 @jenniloveA26  why would you ever date that ugly slut?"

I look at Jai and I can see he's reading the same hate tweets. He wraps his arms around my waist and pulls me close. "Don't worry about them baby. Nothing anyone says or do can ever change the way I feel about you. You're mine now and I'm never letting go." He kisses my forehead.

We spend the rest of the day cuddling watching Netflix. It's now 10:00.

"I gotta go babe. Mums gonna worry." He gives me a hug and kisses me.

"Goodnight Jenni baby." He says.

"Goodnight Jaibear." He smiles and leaves.

Jai's finally mine.
