Chapter 12

Jai's pov.

This better fucking work.

Luke just texted Jenni to have her come down to the pier. I hope she comes. I want her back so bad.

Luke: Jenni is on her way. Won't be long until you have your girl back bro :)

Me: Alright thanks man :)

I hear a car door close an I quickly turn on the stereo to They Don't Know About Us by 1D. It's our song.

I see her.

This is it.

Jenni's pov.

I step out if my car and hear our song..

Jai's here.

I turn around to get back in my car but Luke calls after me.

"Jenni please come with me. Please. You'll regret not coming." He says and grabs my hand. I can't find the will to fight back. I let him lead me to the pier.

There's a trail of red and white rose petals and candles everywhere. I cover my mouth with my hand and start to tears up. Luke kisses my cheek for comfort.

Jai.

Jai's standing at the end of the pier holding a rose and singing along to the chorus of our song. He slowly walks towards me. My hand is still over my mouth. He pries my hand from my face and holds both of my hands down by our side.

"They don't know how special you are, they don't know what you've done to my heart. They can say anything they want, cause they don't know us." He sings and brings me close to him and sways us back and forth until the song comes to an end.

The song ends and he looks me in the eyes.

"Jenni. I can't bare to be away from you any longer. I need you in my life. I need my princess. Don't pay attention to what the haters say. They don't know us. They just don't know." His eyes won't leave mine. He's looking into my soul. I start to cry.

"No. Jenni please don't cry baby. I'm right here. I'm never gonna leave your side." He hugs me tight. I've longed for his arms around me for so long.

"Jai. I'm so fucking sorry. I shouldve never ended what we had. We're meant for each other. Our lives are complete shit when we're not together. I'm so sorry for being a bitch at the beach. I was trying so hard to tell myself that I didn't need you and I could move on. I was wrong. I'm nothing without you Jai." I sob into his chest as he hugs me even tighter.

"It's ok princess. That doesn't matter. All that matters is you and me right here right now. We have each other now." He cups my face in his hands and he kisses me. Fuck I missed these lips.

"Fuck I missed you baby" He mumbles into the kiss making us smile.

"It's missed you too Jai. I really did." We smile some more into the kiss.

"Alright alright love birds save that shit for the bedroom" Skip says interrupting us. I run to the boys and give them huge hugs and kisses on their cheeks.

"Thanks boys." Jai says with a smile.

"No problem brother. We're so happy the Janoskians are back" Beau says.

*Next day*

I stayed the night at the boys house last night. I missed Jai too much to not stay with him. I'm so glad we're together again.

I drag myself out of bed and I have to pull up Jai's sweatpants that I'm wearing because they're so damn big. I walk downstairs to find Jai in the kitchen. I don't think anyone else is up.

"Hey there beautfiul. I was just making you breakfast." Jai smiles. I've missed his sloth smile.

"Aw Jai you don't have to!" I say.

"I want to. For my baby." He says and I blush hard.

I go to the cabinet to get out a cup and I get the orange juice out. I walk back to the cup to pour my juice when I feel familiar hands snake around my waist and a chin on my shoulder.

"Let's stay this way forever babe." He whispers in my ear.

"I would.. but I'm really hungry." I say giggling.

"Oh right your breakfast! I made eggs! I'm good at making them" He says with a cheeky grin.

"Umm but didn't you lose to Luke at making eggs?" I laugh.

"Hey that was only because I was trying to be a bad ass and flip it and catch it!" We both laugh.

"You look so cute in my clothes." He says winking at me.

"Can we go cuddle?" I ask.

"Alright come on babe" He takes my hand and leads me upstairs to his room.

We climb into bed and stay in each others arms for the rest of the day.
