Ch. 11 Talks

4:00 p.m.

Cassidy Pov

We walked the whole mall in four hours. I was tired. My baby had so many clothes. Dot offered to drive back to his place. Carter got so many compliments. We were back at Dot's house.

"You might as well come in and take a nap. It's little's man nap time too," he said. I quickly agreed.

I put Carter in his bed and Dot and I sat on the couch. I looked at him.

"I'm sorry," I whispered.

"For what?"

"Causing so many problems. I was really angry Dot. I thought we were building something," I said crying. He pulled me to him.

"I have to admit Cass, I was growing feelings for you. Hell they came back today. You're really a cool girl when you aren't trying to be evil." I laughed.

"From now on, I won't be a problem." He looked at me and smiled. We smiled at each other for awhile. Then there was a knock at the door. While he got it, I went to go get Carter. I wouldn't seduce Dot Today. I walked out with my baby and saw an angry Leah.

"We're gonna get going. Tell Daddy bye Carter." I gave him Carter and waited at the door. "Hey Leah," I said. She just looked at me and continued watching Carter and Dot. He gave me the baby.

"See you Sunday," he said. I smiled and walked out the door. My sister's resentment towards my baby would cause her to lose Dot. I know she hates her nephew. I just have to prove it to Dot.

As I backed out the drive way, I saw Leah watching me.

Steven Pov

Everybody conversated and ate. They were finished by the time I was ready to make my announcement.

"Attention everyone," I said clearing my voice. They all looked me. "You all look wonderful. I'm glad you could all be here and share this wonderful day with me. I'm thankful for you all. It's a reason I asked you to come. It's regarding the business." Thomas and David were both looking at me. "After our kids graduate I would like to give you, Thomas and David, each your own share of the business, but I plan on leaving it behind."

"You can't be serious," David chuckled.

"I would also like my daughter to join my side. This can up our profits." They all looked at me.

"I don't think so," Lisa said.

"What do you say baby girl?"

"Steven!" Lisa shouted.

"You'll be the only female. I just need your help."

"Steven, you bastard."

"Calm down baby. She hasn't even answered."

I waited calmly. She was looking a t Dav'ds boy a lot. He looked from her to me. She finally looked at me.

"Sure. I'll help."

9:00 p.m.

Lisa Pov

I watched my handsome husband play the game with our son in our bedroom. Erin was laying beside me. Steven was losing to Zeek and he was mad. I looked at Erin. My baby girl looked just like me. She was so beautiful. I really needed to talk to her.

"Steve take Zeek in the game room. I wanna talk to Erin alone."

"Can't you wait?" he asked.

"No!" Then Zeek beat him. He cussed. Zeek laughed and patted him on the back. They walked out. Erin sat up and looked at me.
