Chapter 3. The Way You Make Me Feel

NY 10:00 p.m. Friday Oct 31, 2015

Trinity Pov

This was wrong. Tthis was all the way wrong. I shouldn't be thinking about my best friend's boyfriend like this. Chaz was like a brother to me. I shouldn't be ready to jump his balls. Him and Alisha had been arguing all night. It wasn't fair. Alisha got everything she wanted. The long hair, the body, the boyfriend. Every fucking thing. Let's not mention the clothes. It wasn't long ago that she had just lost her virginity to Chaz. Now they're arguing. Maybe this was my chance. Josh wouldn't have to know.

        We pulled up to Alisha's house. "Bye Chaz." She started to get out.

"Chaz can you take me home?" I asked.

"You're supposed to stay with me tonight," Lisha griped.

"I'm not feeling good anymore." She eyed me then slammed the car door. Chaz ran after her. He walked her inside. I climbed in the front seat and waited.

        Thirty minnutes later he walked out. It was probably a quickie. We weren't going to have a quickie. He turned the radio on and Studio by Schoolboy Q came on. We were at my house in no time.

"Can I come in to use the bathroom?"

"Sure." We got out and walked in. He used the bathroom in my room. I quickly undressed and laid on top of my bed. It flushed. I was so nervous. The door opened and I sat up.

"Trinity, what the hell?"

"They don't have to know Chaz. It can be our little secret." I got up and started kissing his neck. Alisha told me that was his spot. He moaned and kissed me. I just kept massaging his neck so he wouldn't stop. Before i knew it, we were going at it. Chaz didn't leave until twelve that night.

Next Day ATL Nov 1st Sat. 12 p.m.

Erin Pov

"You're what?" I almost yelled.

"I'm breaking up with you." I stared at Jamal. Don't cry Erin. He's not worth it.

"It's her isn't it? It's Asia."

He sighed. "Don't blame her." I snatched the ring he gave me and threw it at him.

"Get out."

"I want us to go-"

"Get out Jamal." He looked at me for a long time and dwalked out. I combed my hair and put on an OVO crewneck, black leggings, and my gold UGGS. I grabbed the keys to my Range and walked out. I saw Jamal sitting on his porch as I backed out. I drove to Dre's house and parked. I was walking to his front door when it bust open. Kennedy walked out. She mugged me and I mugged her right back.

"Dre call me when you get done with this bitch," she turned to me, "what you doing now? Homie hopping?" She laughed.

"While you're laughing you should get that huge ass piece of cum off your forehead. Whore." She stopped laughing. and wiped her forehead. She mugged me and took off next door. "Ready to finish this project?"

"Let's get it," Dre cheered. I walked in and he closed the door. We walked upstairs to his room and I sat at his desk. "You and J broke up?" My throat closed up. I just nodded. Don't cry Erin. A tear rolled down and I broke down. Dre pulled me in his arms and I cried harder. "Don't cry. It's a lot of niggas that would be lucky to have you. I know he was your best friend, but you'll find a new one. Hell I'll be your best friend. A lot of people love you Erin. Don't let this stop you."

I looked at him. "Thanks.... Best friend?" He laughed and hugged me tight.

NY 1:00 p.m.

Chaz Pov

How dumb am I? I cheated on the love of my life with her best friend. Lisha was going to kill me. She was going to leave me. I can't lose her. I pulled up in Josh's yard. I was going to tell him. I had to. He was sitting on the porch. I turned the car off and he walked to the car and got in.

"Wassup man?" he said. We dpped each other. "You got something on your mind?"

"I cheated on Alisha last night." He stared at me. He loved her like a sister.

"Chaz what the fuck?" That was his cousin.

"That's not all," I looked at him. "It was with Trinity." His face changed. "Josh she came on to me." I ran down the whole story. "I'm going to tell Alisha, but you can't tell her it was with Trinity. Please man."

"I won't tell her. Do me a favor and just stay away from me for awhile." I sighed.

"It was an honest mistake man. I don't want to beef-"

"Ain't no beef Chaz. I'm going to do what you told me, now stay away from me." He got out the car.

I called Alisha. "Hello?" she answered.

"I'm about to come over."

"Okay. Is something wrong?" I didn't answer her. "Hello? Chaz?"

"I love you. See you in a bit." I hung up and started the car. I drove all the way to her house. Maybe she won't leave me. She was standing on her porch. I parked and turned off the car. She got in.

"What's wrong Chaz?"

"Alisha I cheated on you last night." Her breath caught and she stared at me.

ATL 2:00 p.m.

Dre Pov

I told Erin I'd finish the project and we went to the mall. She drove us. I wanted to buy her something special. Some UGGS and an outfit ought to do it. I can't believe I told her I'd be her best friend. She even accepted. Jamal was gonna kill me. We pulled up and walked in.

"Let's go to Dillard's," I suggested. She agreed and we walked over there. I pulled out my phone and took a video of her picking out clothes. She caught me.

"Andre stop recording me!" I just laughed. She picked out a baby blue pair of UGGS and we left. "Why did you pay for these? I could've got them."

"Consider them an early Christmas present. Now where are off to?"

"Forever 21." I shook my head and she led the way. We got stopped by India.

"Hey Dre," she purred. She just glanced at Erin.

"Wassup India?"

"Wondering why you haven't hit me up since our little night."

"Been busy. Let's go Erin." I grabbed her hand and pulled her towards Forever 21. She was looking at sweater dresses. She went to try on a black one. I had to give her feedback. I sat in a chair and waited. When she came out, my eyes almost popped out my head. Erin looked so sexy. She did a little twirl.

"Well?" she prompted.

"I like it. Fits you very well." I snuck a picture of her.

        She bought the dress and we headed back home. She dropped me off. "Thanks for a great time best friend," she told me.
