His cool hand slid up your thigh and past your bare hip as he crawled up your body and settled in between your parted legs like his was made to fit just perfectly. His face was so close that you could smell the copper of his breath though you couldn't see him in the pitch black of the room. His hand traveled up your side to brush past your breast, eliciting a shiver as his thumb traced over your tight nipple before moving up towards you neck. His elegant fingers wrapped around your slender throat pushing your chin to the side with his thumb so that he could run his agile tongue over your pulse.
"Mine" he purred against your skin just as his teeth pierced . . .
You sat up abruptly in bed, unsure of your surroundings as you looked around the room for anything out of place or missing. Your eyes moved quickly from the floor length mirror, to the open bathroom door and even to the closed window looking for the shadow or figure that you could still feel watching you. Was that a dream? It felt so damn real, you swear you could feel his breath on your skin and your nipples were hard and swollen like he had been toying with them. You slid off the rumpled bed and walked into the bathroom, flipping the switch on the wall before you crossed the door frame and seeing your reflection you gasp. Bringing you hand up to touch the purple mark on your neck, just over your pulse, you rubbed thinking it might be makeup but it didn't smudge. How? That wasn't there before you went to bed, right? It had to be, there was no other explanation, you must have knocked something before you went to bed, so tired that you didn't even feel it. Yes, that was it. You gave your concerned reflection a confident nod and then reached to turn on the shower as hot as you could stand. You needed to relax and start getting ready for work, it was a Thursday night and surprisingly it was one of the busiest of the week, who knew?
Pulling your oversized sweatshirt over your head you caught sight of another mark on your left hip, just over your panty line. You walked back into your bedroom for a closer look in the full-length mirror and noticed that they seemed to be four small bruises about the size of a fingertip. You traced your own fingers over the marks, remember how the mystery man had gripped there right before you work up. Shaking your head to clear your thoughts, you rolled your eyes and walked back into the bathroom, stripping your panties off as you did and stepped under the steaming water with a sigh.
Several hours later
You tossed your bag onto the small bench next to the front door of your small one-bedroom apartment, too tired to bother hanging it on the decorative hooks on the wall like you should. You struggled to peel off your wet pea coat from the hard rain outside but you were happy for the storm, it brought in the customers tonight and you smiled to yourself as you thought of the $1700 rolled in your money pouch. That would be the first errand that you handled tomorrow, you first day off in almost 2 weeks.
"Thank God" you said out loud to know one as you dropped your coat in the hamper to wash later before stripping off your black leggings, baggy grey sweater and socks. After dropping the rest in the hamper, you walked across the brightly decorated living room to the bathroom for a quick shower and then grab some PJ's. You practically danced to the kitchen for an after-work snack because you had definitely earned the cookies and cream with marshmallows and fudge sauce sundae and you planned to savor it on your couch with a good horror movie before bed. You were about halfway through your marathon of scary movies that you re watched every October, tonight you decided on Dracula 2000 and grabbed your fluffy pink weighted blanket before you snuggled into your favorite spot on the couch and turned on the TV.
You only got about 30 minutes into the movie before your eyes started to droop as if you were entering a trace. You would admit that you were a bit tired but not enough to miss out on such a yummy Dracula, much less to fall asleep on the couch when your soft bed was just a few feet away. You reached forward to pick up the remote but your arm felt like a dead weight and you just couldn't muster the energy to move. You blinked back the soreness of your eyes, falling into a deep sleep almost immediately.
