The Poisoned Fish

It was another great day at the Minevengers' HQ, and Cap was in the shower, getting ready for the day. He finished his shower, dried himself off, and got his clothes on. He went and grabbed his suit, then went to see Jarvis, for today was a special day. Cap was taking his girlfriend Holly to a nice restaurant for a brunch date! But the thing is, he didn't know what restaurant he was taking her to, so he asked Jarvis what restaurant he was going to take Holly to.

"Good morning, Captain America," said Jarvis. "You look really fresh this morning. Yes, I have booked a nice restaurant for you. It's in the suburbs, and it's quite quaint. I've put the coordinates in your helicopter for you."

"Okay, thanks, Jarvis," said Cap. He exited the HQ, and went to his chopper. On his way to the chopper, he saw a small hole in the driveway. Thor usually leaves a mark wherever he goes, but Cap wasn't sure about it. He just went to his chopper, and flew to Holly's house.

Now when Cap lands his chopper in the parking lot of Holly's house, he always tears up the mayor's bushes, and that's what happened today when Cap landed his chopper. He knew that the mayor would be mad if he saw his bushes all torn up. Cap tried to fix it, but it was no use. So he went inside to find his girlfriend.

Holly was in her room playing with her baby brother when Cap came in to see her.

"Hey, Holly," he said.

"Hi, Cap," said Holly. "I missed you."

"I missed you, too," said Cap. "Hey, um, I was thinking about taking you on a brunch date. What do you think?"

"A brunch date?" asked Holly. "That sounds like a great idea."

"Alright," said Cap. "Um, I think your mom will look after Bobby. Come on. Let's go." They chose to take Holly's car instead of the chopper, because it would take up a lot of space in the restaurant's parking lot.

When they got there, they met their waiter, Francisco, who worked at the Italiano Restaurant. Cap and Holly sat down at a table, then Francisco came over to tell them the specials.

When all the specials were read off, Cap and Holly chose what they wanted to eat. Once that was done, it came over, and they began to eat.

"Cap, how does your food taste?" asked Holly. "Mine tastes kind of funny."

"Mine's delicious," said Cap. He told Holly that her food looked totally normal, then asked how it could taste funny.

"Cap, I don't feel too good," said Holly.

"Oh, man," said Cap. "That doesn't sound good."

Cap was right, because Holly's face turned green, and man it didn't look pretty. Holly told Cap that she needed to go to the hospital.

"Okay," said Cap. "I'll call for an ambulance." He dialed 9-1-1, and told the guy on the other end that his girlfriend wasn't feeling good due to a suspected dose of food poisoning. The guy said that the ambulance will be there in fifteen minutes.

The ambulance arrived at the restaurant to take Holly to the hospital. Francisco felt really bad inside.

"Oh, Cap," he said, "I feel so terrible. The fish, it must've made her sick. This is all my fault."

"Francisco, it's not your fault," Cap told him. "I'm going to get to the bottom of this. Let's do this, Minevengers!"
