Brrriiinnnggg! The bell rang, and Ropo was in the computer lab with Gambit. He got off the computer, went to his room, grabbed his phone, and went to the physics lab. On his way there, he got a text from his dad, saying that it's important and that he had to go see him. He got to the physics lab where his class was learning, and told Beast that he got a text from his dad and that he had to go see them, even though he has to make up all the work he missed. Beast said that he can go, because family is really important.
"Thanks Beast," said Ropo. He went to his chopper, and flew over to Crestwood Avenue.
Once he got to Crestwood Avenue, he went into his parents' house, and asked his dad why he had to come see him. His dad said that he had something important to tell him.
"You see, you were left on our door step when you were only a few days old," said his dad. "I don't know who left you there, but I do know Janet and I were the ones who raised you."
"So that means that . . . I'm adopted," said Ropo. He knew that Commissioner and Janet Power raised him, for he thought of them as his parents. But when he heard that his mom and dad were just his caretakers, he felt really upset. He didn't know who his birth parents were. He walked around his house; to his room, to the backyard, all over the house. Then he went outside to the park, where he remembered going fishing, making a lot of friends, and having fun.
He then went to the river and threw some rocks, for he was really upset. He then started to cry. He really wanted to know who his birth parents were, and if they were superheroes too.
Then he found an old abandoned train station, and he thought that he could catch a train there. So he went over there, and left the neighborhood.
