(JAI P.O.V)

I fell asleep with her in my arms but unfortunately woke up with her gone. I got out of bed and searched the house she was no where. Andrew texted me earlier this morning saying he went to work, and would call to check in but she was still in bed at that point.. Now she's gone, I had her and now I don't. It is Monday so there is a possibility she is at work.. I went back up to her room to call the dance studio when I went to reach for my phone I noticed hers on the table. I have never been one to be nosey but with everything going on I want to know she is safe. When I opened her screen I saw a conversation that made my blood boil.

*Karen: hey are you at the house? I really need a shot. Do you have any?*

*Aaron: where were you last night? You went to go get shit and never came back.. Jamie thought you got in an accident shes been freaking shit*

*Karen: I'm alive and you didn't answer my question.... do you or do you not?*

*Aaron: hey now no need to get you panties in a bunch cutie. You know I got you but no I'm not there.*

*Karen: Don't call me cutie your ass will forever be friend zoned.. Where are you? Can we meet up.. I need to make it fast*

*Aaron: at the corner cafe I'll meet you out back.. Why can't you hang for a while? Why in such a rush?*

*Karen: Stop being nosey.. I'll be there in 10min*

I must be stupid because after last night I thought there would be hope that she was going to stop, obviously I was wrong. The last message was sent only six minutes ago.

With out thinking I put on my shoes and started driving to the cafe.

(KAREN P.O.V.)

"Hey" I said walking up to Aaron who was waiting for me behind the cafe.

"You look like shit" he said slightly laughing "have you been crying?" His laugh now faded.

"No just a long night.. So you have some H right?" I asked stepping closer to him feeling my left arm itch more and more.

He shook his head and was reaching in his pocket before pulling it out quickly with panic in his eyes. The door had opened so he tired to play it off, only to find out it was Jamie walking out.

"You can't just say your going to come back then not! I might not have known you that long but your one of my closest friends I thought you died!" She said laughing but slightly angry. Sometimes she confuses me.

"Haha I'm sorry Jamie I'm fine"

"Good, well I'm going to go back in you coming?" She asked.

"No but I'll text you later" I said and with that she walked back in.

"She's such a girl" he said laughing pulling a little Baggie out of his pocket and handing it to me.

"Thank you.. I call you later" he nodded and headed back inside.

I turned around to walk back home before jai woke up but I was too late. I didn't even make it five feet before his car pulled up and a vary angry looking jai got out. I was frozen in panic, you know that moment your so worried about what is going to happen next and you get that knot in you stomach where you feel like throwing up? That's happening right now.

My feet were stuck to the pavement. Jai ran up to me taking the small Baggie destroying the substance. I was still frozen no emotion I didn't know what to do.

"Are you fucking kidding me!" He screamed grabbing my arms roughly.

"God dammit Karen answer me!" He said tightening his grip on my arms and screaming louder.
