The knights wake up to the sounds of seagulls, one seagull pecks at Trula's nose. Trula swiftly grabs the bird and snaps its neck as if he were ringing out a wet towel; looks like we will be eating seagull meat this morning. Trula and Sir Gaglos hunt the seagulls in the surrounding area and bring them back to the campfire to be cooked. The smell of cooking seagull was repulsive and the meat tasted twice as bad as it smelled. We block our noses and down the meat creating a nasty aftertaste, making even Gorf the bullywug throw up. After we consume our appalling breakfast, we start to strategize on how to cross the river. Sir Ruflan suggests that we should head west to the nearest bridge, but Sir Gaglos points out that the travel would take weeks. Jadel then says "The only way to get there on time is to sail across the river." Gorf and Leena give Jadel. "Now son where do you plan on getting a boat, there aren't any docks for miles," snarkily replied Gorf. Jadel points at the ruins of an old fishing vessel with a large hole in its hull and its mast in two pieces. Leena bends over and whispers into Gorfs ear "I think the seagull meat made him crazy." Jadel says "Just you watch" and approaches the ship. He lifts his staff, the ashes shine brightly. Similar to the carriage from the woods, Jadel was able to reanimate a past version of the ship, a version before it crashed against the rocks and beached itself.
