Chapter 3: First things first

A weak yawn came from the tired Noel as the sweet scent of eggs and bacon entered him and Claire's room. He dejectedly rubbed his eyes and sat up. His eyes shifted to the girl on the other side of the room, her eyes still shut, but her mouth in a full grin. 

"She must be having a dream about something nice, better not wake her." The blonde mumbled under his breath. The taller one hazily got out of his bed, still in pajamas, and slowly walked towards the kitchen.

"Ah! Noel, hello!" Ashe greeted with a smile, he seemed relieved as soon as he laid his eyes on Noel. The other was too tired to notice and or care though.

"Hello..so that's where that smell is coming from..." His eyes drifted to the frying pans filled with eggs and bacon. 

"Yes! I decided that since it's our first day today, that I would make us all a big breakfast, there's also toast in the toaster as well." 

"Wow, that's really sweet of you, Ashe." Noel remarked as he hungirly eyed the sizzling frying pans. 

"Thank you! I just think it's only right to do so." The teal-haired man concentrated on the food with a high amount of focus, how can one person do that in the morning?

"Noel." A voice greeted from behind, the blonde sharply turned around.

"Oh! Sirius, good morning!" Ashe broke his focus for a moment to say hello.

"You..do you have to be so loud? It's so early!" The lavender-haired man quickly made his way over to the couch, already dressed. He was wearing a white laced collar, accompanied by white gloves, with a light gray long-sleeved button-up, finished with dark blue leggings.

"Uh..s-sorry." The braided-haired man dejectedly mumbled. 

"H-Hey Sirius, Ashe is making breakfast for all of us, we didn't even ask him to! D-Do you have to be so mean?" Noel stood up for Ashe, though to be honest, it wasn't the strongest stand up..

"Hmph...when is it going to be ready anyhow, we only have so much time before school starts." Sirius crossed his arms and tapped his foot on the floor, not admitting he felt a little bad.

"In just 2 minutes!" The second tallest replied as he flipped the eggs.

"Hey." The shortest man emerged from a shared room, fully dressed in an unzipped red jacket, with a black shirt with black pants. The color drained from Ashe's face, as he took a quiet shaky breath, trying not to think about what happened last night.

"Good morning Wilardo." The children's psychology major greeted with a heart-warming grin.

"Wilardo." Sirius tiredly mumbled, propping his head up with his arm. 

"Wilardo! Nice to see you up, the food will be ready shortly." The biology major faked enthusiasm with a forced smile as he turned back to the food. The navy-haired man's focus stayed on Ashe for a solid 5 seconds, before he shrugged and sat on the arm-chair.

"What of Claire?" The theatre-arts major questioned, mostly directed at Noel.

"Claire's still sleeping, she looked like she was having a nice dream, I didn't want to interrupt." The blonde admitted, having a small smile when he thought of Claire happily sleeping.

"Well she's going to be late, so are you, and that annoying cook over there. You people aren't even dressed yet!" The lavender-haired man scolded, checking his old fashioned watch. "It's already 7:10, we leave at 7:30. Classes start at 8 you know, you animals!" 

"O-Okay I'll go get Claire, j-jeez." Noel quickly got up and made his way over to their shared room.

"Food is ready!" Ashe sang as he got 5 different plates and sized the portions. He skipped over to the table to set down the plates in front of Sirius and Wilardo. He also set the plates in front of the empty spots on the couch. "You'll have to excuse me, I should get dressed, eat it before it gets cold though!" In reality, Ashe did have to get dressed, but he was planning to do it after the meal, until it was just Sirius and Wilardo. The two people that potentially hate him, with that thought, he scurried off into his room.
