(Tre's POV)
It was the weekend and I was ready for the take-out. Me, Peanut, and a couple of our co-workers were meeting up with the Grady's. They had no idea that I'd set them up and I'd been waiting to take them out.

"Man, this is life or death."  Said Peanut, loading his bag.  "I know, but we gotta do what we gotta do."  I replied throwing them inside the trunk. I'd rather it be someone else's loss than mine, no matter how selfish it sounded.

We made our way to his head quarters, G-Note already inside. "Wassup boss."  I greeted him.  We headed inside of T-Nash's office with our guns tucked in our back pockets. "Well, well, well. What brings you fellas here?"  Asked T-Nash. "I was told that your boys here stole from Tre.  I came here to collect mine."  G-Note stated.

I was nervous as hell, and Gage and Kilo's eyes were on mine. "Stole? We don't even fuck with these niggas boss."  Said Gage. "Aw yea?"  Peanut asked reaching for his gun.  In that moment he gave the signal and we took out our guns, shooting at whoever stood in our way.

T-Nash escaped, heading towards the exit while the bullets from our guns dropped his workers.  "Damn, we gotta catch that fat ass nigga."  G-Note yelled, pushing through the back doors.  I couldn't find Peanut anywhere. "P!...Peanut where you at homie?"  I stepped over bodies, blasting whoever was left.  Until, I found him.

There was a bullet wound in his chest.  "Tre, help me man."  He cried in agony. I rushed over helping him up, slinging him over my shoulder.

(Alicia's POV)
It was 7:30 and Tre was nowhere to be found.  For the first ten or so minutes, I was worried. But after then, I was fuming.  He wasn't answering my calls or texts, and I was starting to feel as if I was dressed for nothing. I decided to dial up Sean. I hated for him to be my back up plan, but I needed a distraction from Tre's 'no show'.

Sean: Hello
Me: Hey Sean, it's me. Alicia.
Sean: Oh hey babygirl, you changed your mind?
Me: Yea, I still wanna go, haha.
Sean: Okay, I'll be there give me 20.
Me: Bet.

I did my last minute changes, and 20 minutes later there was a knock on my door.  There stood Sean, he wasn't too casual and he wasn't too formal.  Which was just right. "You look, amazing."  He said admiring my short, sexy, and sleeveless minny dress.

"Thank you."  I replied taking his hand while he led me to his car. It was a red and black Charger.  But it didn't excite me, I had a BMW, a Ferrari, and a drop top convertible. But even with those valuables, I remained humble.   Money wasn't a factor.

"You live all the way in the rich neighborhood."  He commented, as he pulled off.  "Yeah, I guess so."  I shrugged. I didn't like to talk about myself much. "So how's the Texas life?"  I said nudging his shoulder.  "Great actually, I work in a small law firm...But it's sorta lonely up there by myself."

Law firm? How cool, considering how much he hated history.  "That's cool."  I replied, purposely ignoring his last comment. The rest of the ride consisted of a comfortable silence.

When we made it inside we were greeted by the same waiter that I had with Tre. I could tell he recognized me, but he didn't say anything, which was perfect.  "I'll have a taco salad with a dirty martini on ice."  I requested.  Sean grinned at me, also placing his order.  "I'll have a margarita along with a chicken enchilada and a side of cheesy beef nachos."  My mouth watered over his order.

"So, I don't mean to push things. But I'm just dying to know how he screwed up with the most beautifulest girl here."  Said Sean, looking into my eyes. I blushed playing with my curls again. "Sean."  "Sean nothing."  He interjected sternly.  I rolled my eyes, taking a deep breath.

"As you know, we were the happiest couple. I loved him more than I loved myself actually.  Time had passed and he'd gotten bored with me.  So first he decided on a 'break'. He claimed he needed time to himself.  He assured me it'd be a week max. So I was cool with it.  But a week transpired into a month.  And after the second month he'd told me, he just didn't want to be together anymore.  Man, did it hurt. It felt like someone was stomping on my chest."

Sean's face displayed sympathy as well as understanding and I was greatful. "I'm so sorry a guy like him even had the opportunity to waste your time. I ain't saying you have to rush with me unless you want to. But baby, I'm here. I'll always be."  I shivered when he called me baby, it felt good. It made me blush and I knew it was semi wrong to feel this way, because I wanted Tre. But I couldn't help myself.

We ended the night drinking and laughing, talking about highschool and our family problems.  We talked all the way up until the restaurant closed and I still wasn't ready to go home.  As we walked back to the car, we engaged in a long, passionate, hug. "Thank you for tonight Sean, I had fun."  I said softly.

He then took my hand, "Your more than welcome Alicia."  On the way back to my house we listened to some old school slow jams.  We sung some of the lyrics, while mumbling the rest. And when we finally made it. He walked me up to my porch step.  He leaned in for a kiss, and as bad as I wanted to, I resisted.  "Not on the first night."  He chuckled, but nodded giving me another hug as he jogged back down the steps.

I opened the front door to find mama and Bre asleep on the couch. I quietly walked upstairs, getting undressed. Washing myself, brushing my teeth, and placing my pajamas on. When I checked my phone there was about 5 messages from Tre.

Tre: I'm sorry about tonight. I just got caught up in something.  I'm at the hospital right now with my nigga Peanut. He got shot, but Ima make it up to you ma.
Tre: Baby I said I was sorry.
Tre: Alicia stop ignoring me, can I come through? Where do you stay?
Tre: Who TF is this nigga?  Is this your so called friend? Wowww. You hella grimmey. Shit fasho.
Tre: *image of Sean and I.*

It must have been the waiter guy who took them.

Me: Listen Tre, we are just friends. Why are you so mad? We aren't official. You don't see me on your case about these hoes you run with. So don't call me out on anything.
Tre: Yea whatever, I don't care about these hoes. Obviously I care about you. But you got a point I'm sorry. I guess I'm just selfish Alicia. I want you to myself baby.

I blushed, I didn't wanna be naive. But his whole vibe was sincere.

Me: Fine, tomorrow make it up to me?
Tre: Definitely.  We gone roll one and chill tomorrow bet?
Me: No I wanna go somewhere. That's just another excuse so you can get into my panties haha.
Tre: Lol, I ain't even gotta make excuses babygirl, you gone give em up soon either way (; but I gotchu. Movies sound good enough?
Me: You wish. And yeah that's fine, cheap ass nigga (:
Tre: Cheap? You just expensive lol.
Me: I know nigga.
Tre: SMH, you gone keep talking to daddy like that I'ma have to put this young stroke on ya.
Me: Lmao, cut it out. Team lil weenie.
Tre: Ctfu you funny..!
Me: Ik, but I'm tired... Come by in the morning with some breakfast loser. 23rd Angel St. The gate code is 214.
Tre: Lol hell naaah. But goodnight gorgeous.
Me: Goodnight (:

I wanted to keep talking, but my body wouldn't let me. I was super tired. But I had a huge decision to make.  It was either Sean or Tre.  My thoughts were interrupted by another text.
Sean: Goodnight babygirl, sleep tight.
I smiled instantly.
