Sans and his group continue to move forward, and in spite of the fact that, Shadow does not have an answer to Sans' proposal, nor did he confirm of changing his mind about if he wants to go to Mount Ebott is shelter, he still decides to help out with finding some survivors in order to get them out of here, and into Mount Ebott. At least he is grateful that Shadow is doing him a favor and helping with making the king's orders easier.
Shadow was able to bring back a lot of Mobians that have survived and have not been demonized. And thanks to that, Sans would use his teleportation power to send them to the Underground, where the king and the queen will be waiting. Asgore was able to expand and make a new area in the underground where the Mobians can live in, not to mention the fact that, because of Shadow's speed, this makes finding them much more easier than ever. Also, since Sans has recovered and healed from the fight against the Sharpness Demon, Exetior himself, he now feels fresh again, and now is healed up, due to resting for a little bit.
Rouge doesn't scout much, since she has staying with Cream to protect her, and she does not want to lose a friend. While Sans has told her many times that he can protect her by bringing the phantom version of Papyrus in, because Rouge is afraid of losing one of her own friends again, she stays with her at all times. So, Sans decides to swallow it and deal with it.
As for Cream, she is filled with relief that some of her other friends survived, and hopes that they can make it until the end of the journey, which is to help find the Master Emerald for Shadow, and to get to the underground fast at as they could. But spending time with her friends, really helped her mentally.
Right now...Sans is currently talking to one of the Mobians that Shadow had just rescuers from a pack of demons. The Mobians is a cat Mobian. She calls herself...Honey.

Although Honey is trying to put up the best smile she can muster, Sans could tell by the expression on her face that she is in fact very nervous at what had just happened. Thankfully, Sans was able to calm her down, and explained what he is going to do.
Sans spoke to Honey about what will happen once she gets to the underground.
"when i teleport you to the underground, you will be met by either the king of the monster race, asgore himself, or his wife, the queen of the monsters, toriel, and one of them will show you where you can live in. And do not worry a bit, the monsters inside of mount ebott won't hurt you. in fact, they will be very friendly to you. And more importantly...just like you and the rest of the mobians, they are trying to survive and hide from the demons that would try to come and attack them."
Honey, who is very nervous about what she had been through, spoke out.
"R-Really? I-I mean, are you sure they will be friendly to me."
Sans puts a hand on her shoulder and gently touched it.
"really. i can assure you that they will not harm you. they will be kind to you. it will just take a lot of time to get used to it. okay?"
