I felt like someone was watching me, constantly. Eyes beating down on me like a demon. I told my wife but she said I was insane. Maybe that's why I am here, in the woods, alone, so self control. It was obvious that I was an outsider. I heard that there was a job across the country, that's just a tale though. No one never came back alive to tell the story, so been told. I am not a really keen of blood and all but if it's a job I'll take it.

In the article a couple days ago was about it, saying how demons and angels roam the earth taking away souls. It's just a story it actually been never seen, I was resting near a tree and I could hear voices talking about me. A man and a girl. I don't know if it may be me not drinking any water, but I heard it again the following night. It wasn't all that great either. It kinda freaked me out.

Tonight was really cold, I lost my blanket somewhere. I don't want to go back really, not tonight. I laid back on a tree hearing the fire crackling. This is insane, I am here out in the woods with no water, no food, no clothing, nothing! I shivered feeling the cold biting my skin. It's so cold, I sneezed. "Bless you," a voice said above me.

I got up to see who it was but it was no one, I laid back down laying near the fire to keep me warm. I could feel those eyes glaring down at me, stinging into my soul. Who is there? I wanted to say but it wouldn't come out, my mouth is sealed shut. I got up, not getting rest from the shivering cold. A fox came up to me and sniffed me, probably hungry like I am. "Sorry, no food." I said calmly with a weak smile. The fox just sat there staring at me tilting his head. I sighed and patted the ground near me, and it hop towards me. I am use to it, animals always have a way to come near me.

The Fox let me cuddle near it having my arms wrapped around its thick, winter coat fur. I fell asleep like that with a fox. When I woke up that moment the Fox came hoping towards me with some fish in its mouth. Lucky. It seemed to rained but I am dried as well the fox. Things get weird when your alone, after all when your going on a quest that is impossible to do. I got up and petted the fox I turned towards the fire, it's just barely dying. I sighed softly, walking away from everything, the woods, the mud, the fox. I would miss that fox. Suddenly out of surprise the fox followed me, I let it be.

After awhile the air went hotter, and the fox was left behind. It was a sad tale that should never be spoken. I wonder what would it be like to live away from family. To train to kill, train not to feel.

I looked at the world around me seeing everything that goes and in. Rats, mice, birds, and every little thing that goes into abyss of everything. I settled near a town that have horses of every color, and the men dressed like hunters. I came up to one of the ladies there and tapped her shoulder, smiling. She smiled while we talked for a while saying how I was on this journey to a camp called 'Dragon Slayers,' she put her hands to her mouth and cried. She told me that her husband went there and died by one of the Demons.

"I am sorry for your lost," I said trying to comfort her.

"It's okay, do you need anything else?" she said looking up to me.

I tried to smile while I hugged her from the side, "Is it okay if I can get some water and a horse?"

She smiled and nod, grabbing my hand pulling me towards her house. There was a brown horse with a white fur on his chest. I smiled and hugged her, "Thank you,"

     "Please be safe,"

     "I will!"

That's when I started my journey across the forest, I held onto the leash of the horse while we walked. I stopped and petted the the beautiful tall creature. I smiled, while I leaned against a tree and he did as well. His head on my lap then the dark blue sky with those twinkling lights covered the land. I smiled while I leaned back and fell asleep.

The morning rose already and this time the horse was eating some grass, I smiled happily that it didn't left me. I smiled and looked around to see if there was anything but nothing. I walked towards the horse and tugged on its strapped.

"Lets go, maybe there is a town up ahead like a long time," I laughed.

I grab my horse and hop on and we just walked along the road that no one came or went. I watched every leaf fall from its home counting, the lost. One, Two, Three. To many. I sighed and hug the horse neck. "I feel alone,"
