'Y/N! What is going on?! Are you training elephants up there or something? Because all I can hear is- woah!'
Hugh opened the door, only for Y/N to come crashing into him. 'I'm so sorry Hugh!'
Hugh chuckled and put them back on their feet. 'It's no biggie Y/N. But seriously, what the hell are you doing?'
Y/N shrugged and grinned sheepishly. 'Dancing...? I found a stereo in the attic the other day, and well, it still works pretty well. So I figured, why not try dancing? And, as you heard, I'm not that good. Despite the fact that I cleared this space out, I'm still tripping over.'
Hugh cocked his head slightly and smiled. 'Do you want me to teach you?'
Y/N's eyes lit. 'You'd do that? For me?'
He bowed and held out his hand. 'I'd be honoured.'
Y/N could feel their cheeks heating up.
They nodded and took his hand. 'Alright then.'
'Am I doing this right Hugh?'
'Your doing amazing, Y/N!'
Y/N smiled at Hugh. 'You're a pretty good teacher.'
'Thank you.' said Hugh, feeling rather proud.
'No, thank you. Now I have a perfectly good reason to use this stereo. Although, this dance still requires 2. Oh well, I'll just use a pillow or something.'
Hugh laughed. 'Y/N, you can't dance with a pillow.'
'Yes I can!'
'No you can't.'
'Why not?'
'Because it's not big enough to reach the floor.'
'Good point.'
The music slowly died down, the song was nearing to the end.
'Oh dear. The song's ending and I haven't yet taught you something. They say it's the most important step.'
'It's alright, I can put I can back on.'
Y/N went to go replay the song, but then felt a hand grab their wrist and the next this they knew, Hugh had pulled them in and kissed them right there on the spot.
'Hugh...?'
Y/N raised an eyebrow and smirked. 'Was that by any chance the thing you forgot to teach me?'
He chuckled and smirked back.
'It was indeed.'
