Kitty POV
I can't remember the last time an illness had affected me so much.
So much that I could barley lift any of my limbs, let alone get out of bed.
Every inch of me ached. And the one person I wanted the most was my partner, Victor.

It was as if he could read my thoughts. I head a knock at the door, along with,
'Kitty? You okay?'
'V-Vic?'
'You don't sound to good. Can I come in?'
He didn't even wait for my answer. The door opened, and the already worried expression on his face grew even more anxious. He sucked in his breath. 'Oh God...'

He raced over to my bed and dropped down beside me.
He started shaking his head. 'Look at you, Kitty-cat...you practically pale as a sheet.'
I closed my eyes and scrunched them tightly as he placed a hand to my forehead, before he pulled it away.
'Your head's on fire.'
'I don't feel so good, sweetie...'
Victor nodded. He took my hand and rubbed it. 'I can tell...do you want me to stay with you?'
I closed my eyes and sighed. 'Please do.'

After a while of silence, he turned to face me again. A lock of hair had fallen onto my face. He brushed it off and ran his hand down until it cupped my cheek. He shook his head.
'Darling, we need to get yo to a doctor. This really isn't good.'
'I know...'
He stood up. 'I'll be back in a sec.'

He came back a few moments later, with Enoch behind him. When they entered the room, Victor stood back to reveal me to him, and his eyes widened.
'Crap...you weren't kidding.'
'I'd never joke about something as serious as this.'
Enoch walked over to me, and knelt down next to my bed.
'You alright?'
'I've had better days.'
He gave a short nod, before standing up.
'Victor's right. We need to get you to a doctor. ASAP.'
'I'll warn you now, this won't be easy.' I said. Moving, at that time, sounded like my idea of hell.
'Well, we'll try to make it as easy as we can for you.' Victor smiled softly. 'Come on then.'

I sighed again, before pushing the covers off.
'Let's just get this over with.'
'I'll help her stand up. Could you grab the blanket?' asked Victor.
'Sure.' said Enoch.
Victor lent put his hand. Using his strength, he gently pulled me onto my feet. Enoch took the blanket off my bed and wrapped it around me. I held the corners to my chest and smiled at them, before I fell forward and everything went dark.

The next thing I remember is waking in hospital, with a drip attached to my arm. There were two familiar voices talking. My sight was still a little blurry, so I couldn't see who they were.
'I'm really worried, Enoch. I feel like it's all my fault. What if I pulled her too hard whilst helping her stand?! You know sometimes I can't control my strength-'
'Victor. Calm down. This isn't your fault. You did the right thing. Bringing Kitty to hospital was the best option for her.'
'G-guys?'

Their heads snapped in my direction. Victor let out a huge sigh of relief. I noticed his face was tear-streaked.
'Victor...'
'Kitty...'
'Sweetheart, have you been crying?' I said.
He wiped his face with the corner of his sleeve. 'Maybe. I was just really worried, that's all.'
'Well, I'm fine now. So you don't have to worry anymore.'
He chuckled, before fixing his eyes with mine.
'Baby, I'm not gonna stop worrying until you're out of bed an well again.'
'How are you feeling now?' asked Enoch.
I smiled and nodded. 'Better then I was before.'

A few (seemingly long) days later, I was released from hospital, and all was back to normal.
