Luke's POV

So it means like nothing is going according to plan. Everything keeps failing. From me trying to talk to Mark, to making him talk, to the weather, to the pack and most especially myself.

The Witches Council are a bunch of disappointment. They can't do anything right and I mean it's not even their fault about not being able to find a solution to the weather. It's just mine course I've been sulking this past few months and I can't do anything to ease it.

I was so lost in thought that I happened to bump into an Omega and she seemed to be in a rush. She apologized and went away. Now that I'm paying attention to my surroundings, everyone and everything seem to be in a rush and hurry as if the storm outside went inside.

I hurried downstairs only to find everyone gathered at the hall looking tense and afraid and outraged. I could clearly see it from alpha Drake's and Philip's face.

I was about to enter when I got a signal from my mom not to. I saw my dad and alpha Drake look at me with eyes filled with hope and adverted their eyes to look at the person... Or should I say two from their shadows I could see.

But what I didn't get was why they were so tense and afraid and I decided to hide myself to prevent them from sniffing me out and decide to find out why.

"Well well, if it isn't alpha Derek, or should I say Derek since I'm not in your pack or anyone else's for that matter. Long time no see, isn't it? Or should I say...... Missed you?!" The first shadow which I assume to be a male spoke and the temperature around the room seemed to have dropped.

Maxwell's POV

"Well well, if it isn't alpha Derek, or should I say Derek since I'm not in your pack or anyone else's for that matter. Long time no see, isn't it? Or should I say..... Missed you?!? Haha no way because I don't". I laughed while watching the reactions on each one of their faces and I am loving it.

"Did you think I would leave you and watch you live and have a peaceful and normal life? Over my dead body is that gonna on my watch." I said as I left the body I was holding watching it slump to the floor. I've waited for ages for this day to come and I'm gonna make it a day to never forget.

I walked away from the centre of the crowd towards one of the windows and pointed towards the sky. " How do you like my gift? Pretty cool huh? Why, thank you. Took me a lot of time to create it. Sigh, but it's like you guys don't appreciate it at all." I said with a sad voice while looking at alpha Derek and Luna Lisa. "You guys tried to get rid of it by calling the so called Witches Council," I said turning my attention towards them, "but luckily for me..... I had it covered. Tell me," I walked back to the centre of the hall and faced them once again, "did you think that some rituals will calm a storm that was made from pure anger and hatred away?!? No!!!!!" I shouted, but I kept my cool "no it doesn't." I pinched between my eyebrows, "this is giving me a headache."

"Why are you doing this?" Derek asked and I felt concern seep through his words.

"Ah finally!! The man that I am here for finally spoke and is that concern I here? Lanced in your statement?" I laughed dried, "don't make me laugh Derek, don't. You asked why? Why I'm I doing all things? Why I'm I after your pack and family and friends?! Well simple!!!! I want what you have!!! Your happiness!!!!! Is that too much to ask?! Of course it is."

I took a sit at the centre of the hall 'cause I was tired of all the standing and the yelling that it was giving me a splitting headache.

"Who are you? Just show us your face and we'll talk about this in private." Derek said. Now that, that made me even more angry and my blood boil that I didn't even know when I threw the chair away and smashed the windows.

"You can't even recognize me!!! Seriously, I have really changed!?! Did I mean nothing to you?!? Do I mean nothing to you?!? Did you ever look for me or think about me even for one second?!?!?! And you ask me to show my face?!? Did my voice become so broad and deep that you can't even recognize me?!?! But I did you!!! I recognized you!!! Even minute, every second, every hour, each passing day, each passing month and each fucking passing year, I didn't forget you, not once, not twice, not thrice and you forgot me?!?!!?" Now I'm sure I was looking crazed but I don't care anymore. I don't give a fuck anymore. But I won't cry, no no no no no I won't break down. I came for something and I'm gonna do it. This is time to act and not time to loose my cool.

I breathed in and out and once I was sure that I've calmed down, I took a look at the whole room. "I came here for something and I'm gonna get it. No time for stupid little family reunions cause you all are liars and getting on my last nerves. I just need the diamond. Where is it?" I said dangerously calm.

I could feel the silence everywhere. Huh. Bunch of idiots, they thought the diamond was only a myth? A legend? Well they are in for a surprise. I took a look at Derek and I have to say I was amazed and amused. So amused that I couldn't help but snort and smirk. He never changed. Still keeping secrets from everyone else except himself. How pathetic. I rolled my eyes.

"Seriously guys, please don't act or look dumb, it doesn't suit y'all." I said disinterestingly.

"You mean..... The diamond? The diamond?" Alpha Philip asked.

"Yes, the diamond." I replied.

"The one that the ancestors used in....". Luna Anna said and I couldn't help but pity the poor woman. She seem too shock to be unable to comprehend anything about the diamond. Won't blame her. We've all been fooled enough.

"Exacto mundo but enough said now. Your alpha, alpha Derek knows it's whereabouts." And with that everyone looked at him. "Oops! Was that a secret I wasn't supposed to share? Sorry..... Not sorry." I smirked.
