Mark's POV

After having a déjà vu feeling of me sensing my mate (which was a lie), I headed downstairs and into the kitchen to prepare for the morning ruckus aka breakfast.

No one knows that am okay. I think my presence will surprise them when they see me in the kitchen. Now that am fine, I can now sleep in my old room. With my roommates.

Now that am walking along the corridors of the house, I can see how serious the weather problem really is. It's too scary and frightening to even stand a second outside with its random flashes of lightening here and there. But am I going to let it ruin my day? Absolutely not!

As expected, they were surprised to see me the moment I stepped my foot into the kitchen.

They bombarded me with questions that I could only nod and smile to.

Remind me that when ever next my see my family, my biological family, I'm gonna kill them.

Anytime my useless brother does something wrong, he always point at me, saying I did it. And because they hate me for being an Omega, they would beat me up. And when ever I tried to explain, it's either a slap or punch in the mouth or a sharp object across it.

That when was I decided not to talk especially when they accuse and beat me up. Didn't know I'll stop taking permanently because of all of that.

Several times I tried talking and several times I ended up getting hurt. So I decided not to even try at all cause I hate getting hurt for someone's else's mistake.

I told them all I was fine and doing okay and was ready to work, and somehow they understood me.

"Now that you are back, can you cook one of your delicious food? Uh... What's it called again?" A girl asked me. She was pouting and had a hand to her jaw to show that she was thinking.

"Kimbap." Someone else said.

"Yes!! That's it! Kimbap!! Oh pleease". She pleased to me.

Didn't know that love it that much.

"We do!!" They replied in unison.

Again I don't know how they understood that and how they heard what I said deep in my mind.

Ever since I stopped talking I stopped showing emotions as well. The only emotions I show is happiness and sometimes when am angry. Anyone apart from these two are history.

With a nod of my head which was a promise to do it, we went back to work. God it feels so good to be in the kitchen again and that was when I knew I've been missing a lot.

"Oh my God! Did you see Alpha and Luna's Philip son?? He's so hot, so cute, so sexy and so.... Dreamy." A girl said when a falling-in-love tone.

"I have to agree. And the way he talks.... It sends shivers down my spine."

This time it was a guy who spoke. I was feeling lost so I decided to just listen on the conversation. Who's this guy that they keep talking about? After too much thinking I decided to not listen anymore.

After 2 hours of being in the heat, it was time to serve breakfast and God are they increasing everyday.

I and some others served breakfast. When I passed by the row Luna Anna usually sits, I felt the scent again and this time it was strong and prominent.

I felt the sudden urge to turn around and look for the owner of the scent, but if I did look back will I see them?

I decided to keep going. After serving breakfast, I went into the hall and I felt someone following me. Not just someone but the one who owns the scent.

I picked up my pace and started turning and twisting to every bends and curves and turn.

What if he's a bad person? Trying to take advantage of me? Or worse.... What if he wants to kill me?? I was so lost in my thought that I didn't see a table with a vase on it until I crashed into it. When it fell, i came back to my senses.

Now the scent was right behind me, and when I turned... God! Was he hot. He looked happy upon seeing me but looking at his eyes he was somewhat sad. I almost pouted. Key word almost.

I was so lost in his eyes, even my wolf was captivated by it until...

"Mark! Dude hurry up. It's almost noon and the Witches Council will soon be here." Collins said and I nodded.

I looked at him one last before going but not without looking at him. I saw Luna Anna and I blushed cause I was caught in the act, staring at her son. In a rush I went away.

Instead of rushing over to help them with the arrangement, I went into my room. I jumped on top of the bed and held my chest.
I could see feel my face heating up. I raised a hand to touch my face and I felt it getting even more redder.

What is happening to me? Why am i feeling this way?
