Tooru was highly suspicious of the letter now. He does believe it is from his future self because he has never ever told anyone about the thing for Iwa chan and no one would be able to read his mind like that.
But seriously, is this some sort of alternate dimension because how does THE KAGEYAMA TOBIO not attend the volleyball club??
He flipped the paper around to see nothing else written on it. He wanted to open all of the letters together but decided not to.
There's no way Tobio chan won't attend the club. Tooru isn't buying this.
The guy literally breathes volleyball. How will he not attend the club? There's no way that's true. Especially since he himself is in the club. The little shit always followed him around like a lost puppy. He absolutely hated it.
Don't get him wrong! He still does!
Although he might be looking forward to the raven trailing behind him all day again a bit. Tobio is hopeless without him right? He might even try to give Tobio some tips on that absolutely abysmal serve of his being the kind and helpful senpai he is.

He doesn't believe the letter at all. He got all the letters together and shoved them in his desk drawer while getting up for his morning run.

He was walking to school with Iwaizumi telling him about the new alien documentary he saw last weekend.
He didn't plan on telling him about the letters which was a first since he told his best friend every single detail of his days and end up getting hit for rambling about "useless information".
He was dying to tell Iwa chan about it though. It was one of most exciting things which happened to him in like ever. Like seriously a letter from his future self???
He had three major reasons to not tell him about it.
First, he was still a little wary about the letters because of what was written in them. Second, he would first get an intense lecture from the spiker for opening a random unlabeled box topped with head smacks. Third, he wanted to save himself the embarrassment on having his straight childhood best friend know about his ex crush on him.
Mainly the third one but yeah.
"Iwa chan, do you think Tobio chan will join us?" he asked the shorter male.
"Hm? Where's that coming from?" Iwaizumi raised his eyebrows at him.
"I mean we're gonna be captain and vice captain this year! Shouldn't we find out about it? What if he brings his tyranny here!?" he ranted while pulling out a packet of milkbread from his bag. His mother brought him some yesterday and he can't stop eating it. This was the last packet.
