He did not like this. If he was concerned before then he isn't sure what he is now. The moment he saw the younger boy flat on the floor he didn't knew what took over him but he went in a phase. He just picked him up ignoring all the chatter and fumbling teachers as he carried the first year all the way to the nurses room.
He only relaxed when the nurse sprinkled some water over the blue eyed teen which if was entrusted to Tooru then he would have sprayed an ENTIRE tank over.
But either way, he wasn't allowed to be inside the infirmary till the end. He had a valid reason to be there as team captain but after a quick check up and some hushed questions to the raven, he was ushered outside. Now he knows he wasn't asked to get outー it wasn't actually that harshー just for the sake of attending class cause God knows he was already relieved to leave class when necessary.
Then what in the world could be so secretive that he had to leave??
Unless and until Tobio had fucking mono or whatever which in the younger's case is impossible because he might as well be volleysexual if that was a thing. Also he doesn't think people faint from mono.
"What in the world am I even thinking?" he groaned. His mind is so out of control right now.
He still went to his class because no way he'll wait for the little idiotic brat who didn't took care of himself to the point where he passed out cold. Also he doesn't think the nurse would allowed him to talk to the first year so standing outside wouldn't help. But mainly the first point. Obviously.
He entered the class and greeted the teacher with a smile. The teacher was thankfully a laid back one so he didn't need to give a fake explanation of where he was. Some of the gritty ones still liked a reason for why he was out even though he had permission.
"Where were you?" he was asked as soon as he sat down. He might manage to get out of explaining himself to the teacher but he forgot he had an equally gritty best friend.
He sighed before answering.
"You're so nosy Iwa chan." he smiled as fake as the whole bachelor series, not in the mood to talk at all. Although he knew he should as Iwa chan should know about Kageyama too, but he just feels so defensive about it.
It's not his fault at all.
He was fixated with a glare which made a cold shiver went down his spine. He sometimes really wonders if the spiker could actually read his mind.
"Fine. Kageyama collapsed." he answered as the boy's last name felt like rubble on his tongue.
"WHAT?" Hajime got up as the whole class looked at him excluding the sleeping teacher who just spared a glance. Ugh and Tooru was called the dramatic one?
"Iwa chan! Stop causing a scene." he hissed and pulled the down to his seat. "Yes, he fainted. But he's fine. I think. The nurse is taking care of it."
