Tooru woke up at the brink on sunrise today. He had been having trouble sleeping the past few days and almost nothing helps with his insomniac schedule. It wasn't hindering with his practice or health and what Iwaizumi doesn't know about won't make him hurt Tooru.
He still looks flawless as ever even sleep deprived, he is literally model material at this point. Shame to the community that he chose volleyball.
He got out of his bed and skipped towards his desk. This was the second day of the letters and he had been rather excited about it. Who knows what kind of misfortune it will bring him right!
The situation in the club had been ratherー tense if that's even the right word for it. All the first years were downright ignoring Tobio chan and the second years couldn't care less. The third years being the only people accepting the little gremlin.
Tooru loves his friends. He really does. But he absolutely CAN'T bring his head around the idea about how both Mattsun and Makki get along with Tobio chan more than he himself gets along with him.
Both of them have literally nothing and by nothing he means absolutely nothing in common with the first year so why in the living heck are they being so buddy buddy with his idiot of an kouhai??
He remembers walking in practice the second day only to see the duo hovering over the younger setter and the next thing he knows is Tobio joining them for lunch the same day.
He isn't really opposed but why are they the one to invite him?? They don't even know him that well! Tooru is the one who's supposed to do that as his kind and considering upperclassman. Not them for God's sake.
He didn't like the idea of the younger eating lunch alone. "He's such a dunce. He probably wouldn't have a single person to eat with. I should teach him to be social before going anywhere near serving skills." he thought back then.
He hates Tobio for agreeing to them. He's literally so annoying. He even befriended Tooru's friends now. Little irritating brat.
He scoffed as he opened the letter and started reading it.

"Sheesh, no need to make me sound like a bad guy. We're literally the same person?? Don't act like you wouldn't have done it too.." he mumbled rolling his eyes at the future him. Although he can't disagree that at some point he did not want to not go through all that hassle.
