When will the princess figure out
she isn't worth saving,
doesn't she realize that dragons
breathe fire and trolls live under bridges,
and I was never actually a knight
in shining armor.
Why should I go out slogging through mud,
breathing fire, and getting stabbed to death,
when she gets to wait in the castle
all pretty in pink and useless.
Being the hero is fun, but only
for the first ten minutes or so.
No one ever tells you just how damn
obnoxious the princess really is.
I'd rather be the dragon.
I am the dragon,
but then again
maybe i was always actually
the dragon.
I want a better story,
don't you?
