After I read the note over, clockwork speeds up; till a boy announces the end of class. Which professor Lucilfer quickly wraps up his lecture and allows the class to leave.

I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place now.

Since I sat in the front, I can't blend into the crowd. Though I did attempt to do such, as I walk to leave, I feel something thin but cold wrapping around my wrist, anchoring me in place.

"Do you not respect authority or do you not know how to obey?" A sinister wording sends chills down my spine, I feel my face contort as if I've seen a ghost- pale as one too.

I slowly turn to see an even more malicious look. My mouth tries to say words that have not been thought of yet. A second passes before I can finally say something. "I'm sorry, I did not mean to offend, I have work, so I was hoping maybe next class to talk?" His grip gets tighter.

"It only takes fifteen minutes to get there, I assure you that you will make it." He finally loosens his hold and turns around.

Okay, how the fuck does this man know where I work? Who is this guy?!

I mindlessly follow him to his desk where he sits. "Sir, I do not want to insult you, but I don't believe we've met before." A beautiful chuckle leaves the professor making me blush in embarrassment for even speaking.

"Miss, take a seat. I will tell you a story and let me know if it rings a bell. If it doesn't, I will apologize and we will go back to being nearly strangers. If it does, well it will explain how I know where you work, won't it?" His arrogant smirk makes me feel like he is laughing at me in his head.

I, now pretty pissed off, just nod, waiting for him to start. "Great! A few weeks back, during the darker of nights, I was walking my normal route around the town when a young lady came up to me and asked to help her home. Being the person I am, I said yes, unaware of what it entailed. I should have heard the fear in her shaky voice but I thought maybe she was simply cold, it was winter in the north after all. I slightly turn my head to see behind me when she begs me not to, saying we need to get out of there- Am I boring you?" The displeased face on his face makes me come out of the story.

"No, I'm very tired, I haven't slept very well in a while, sorry." I scratch my head nervously as I hear him inhale before continuing.

"Back to what I was saying, she grabs my hand and rushes us both to a train station where there would end up being a chase between a man and this woman...I want to know what happens after you bolted out of the train and he caught up to you. Tell me what happened."

That night was a fever dream...but I guess if I was him, I wouldn't forget such an event.

"He...well, let me start with how I knew him. He was a friend of my best friend, we talked if we saw each other but only small talk. After a party at my place, he started to pop up everywhere I was, asking my friend a lot of strange questions about me. One night, I came home from a hard day at work and I went to take a shower when flashing lights kept going off from out the window- then when he couldn't do that anymore because I put up security cameras, he started taking photos of me walking to my car from work.

I had enough that night so I grabbed onto you. I didn't want to drag you into it, but I couldn't get this guy off of me. He started texting me from different numbers, and all types of stalker shit. I got off the train when I did because I wanted to tell him to back off I wasn't interested. When I did, as nice as I could, he lashed out, trying to take me away so I defended myself. Turns out he is friends with one of my professors so that's awkward now." I nervously laugh trying to make myself feel better.

"Which one?"

"Professor Kira, he is an anatomy professor."

"Oh, I know him, he gives me weird vibes. Anyways I'm glad you're okay. Here, take this and just call if you ever need me. Sorry if I came off a little scary a lot there but I needed to know you were alright." He hands me a piece of paper with his info on it.
