Today was not particularly eventful. There were few bets, nothing went wrong in terms of security, and the day was simply plain dull. But it was already nighttime. The moment when people retire to bed and wait to see what the future holds. At least, those who weren't enthralled by the city's rush and bustle. Some people even remain awake all night. Those who worked full-time at the Rust Works were given the option of renting dorm rooms to live in. This is where our friends at MD5 were sleeping. Because, as you may recall, they must all work full-time to pay off a 'debt' imposed by Masa, their friend who got incarcerated that fateful day. While two of the people in the dorm, Sofia and Lamar, were asleep, the other two, Tari and Theo, were not. Theo has always had an 'off' sleep schedule ever since he was brought out of his game. Ultra Jump Mania was really focused on action and fast-paced movement. While Theo did have an idle animation where he went to sleep, he was a bit too erratic to stay still in one place. Eventually he was able to do so and get some rest. But then, he heard something. He got up and he saw his friend Tari just staring out the window as the moonlight shined down on the city.

Theo: Tari?

Tari, taken aback: Oh, Theo. You startled me for a bit.

Theo: Sorry, I was just wondering how come you're not asleep like the others?

Tari: I was. But then I just got this sudden chill. I-It's hard to describe. It's like something is about to happen that will change my life forever.

Theo: What do ya mean? TAS Corp is gone, you're with your friends now, what could possibly be life-changing?

Tari: I don't know Theo. It's something I'll think about tomorrow.

Theo: Ok, good night Tari.

Tari: Good night Theo.

Tari couldn't get that strange feeling out of her head as she and Theo headed back to their own beds. However, the question persists. What could be more life-altering than anything that has happened this week? She fled TAS Corp's clutches, Lucks was dead, and to top it all off, she discovered she was only an AI. What could possibly surpass that!? In any case, she had another day of work ahead of her, so she cleared her mind and attempted to sleep. Both for her and the spirit that resided within.

To say a small get together was going on would be vastly underselling it. The party going on at the castle was off the hook. The DJ was dropping mad beats, the food and drinks served were incredible, and everyone was just having a good time. And it wasn't just the main SMG4 crew, no. They also invited a bunch of other people that they've befriended over the years. Such as Professor E. Gadd, Sonic the Hedgehog, Cap'n Lardbutt, Sans, the list goes on.

Right now, this world's Tari and Belle were having a good time mingling with everyone. They were the main guests of honor after all. They won this year's NEVO, which is one of the biggest video game competitions out there. They defeated all who stood in their way and took home the gold. Literally.

Tari: I can't believe our friends threw this big party for us!

Belle: You said it, this is one of the biggest parties I've ever been to.

Tari: Really? I thought you would've been to real big parties back when you were... you know.

Belle: Nah, none of them hold a candle to this one. Besides, most of the parties I went to during that time were either for holidays or someone's birthday.
