Chapter 5: Picture Frame

As usual, Lisa woke up without a husband beside her. Yes, they actually slept together in one bed. She was so embarassed that she couldn't even turn around to have a comfortable position. Thank goodness, Lisa doesn't have problems with her sleeping habits so it's considered that she's sleeping decently.

Because of boredoms, she decided to bake cupcakes. She isn't an expert baker or cook but she knows the basics. According to her friend, Chaeyoung, her cupcakes are good so she's good and satisfied.

"Wow. I didn't know that madame Jeon can actually bake like this. Delicious~" Lucy stated as she took several bites of the cupcake happily. Mrs. Lim couldn't not agree more and nodded happily.

"You flatter me so much, Lucy ssi." Lisa's cheeks flushed red that made the two maids giggle at her cuteness. This sudden change of behavior of the madame is surprising but it also made them happy.

"No, madame! It's true! Right, Mrs. Lim?" Lucy asked the middle-aged woman who smiled softly and nodded at her.

"Thank you." Was her response as she ate the piece of cupcake shyly. The two once again giggled. Who knew that their once cold and ruthless madame can be this adorable when shy? So adorable.

"Think about it. Madame, why don't you give master Jeon some as well? I'm sure he'll like it." Mrs. Lim suggested that earned an excited nod from the younger.

Give cupcake? To her husband? Lisa's face grew even redder, if that's even possible. She's so sure that her face right now looks similar to a tomato.

"Right! Master Jeon will be happy because this is so good. Why don't you give him some, madame?" Lucy urged the madame who stood frozen. Now that Lisa has changed for good, maybe it's time for them to also fix their marriage, right?

"Uh...what if he's busy? Let's just wait-"

"Master Jeon goes home sometimes late. It will be a waste if he doesn't taste the cupcakes you made. Since it's past 1 now, why don't you give him these? As a dessert." Mrs. Lim cheekily suggested.

"But-"

"Don't worry, madame. I will wrap these cupcakes for you. Go ahead and prepare yourself." Mrs. Lim didn't give her any more chance to decline and shooed her upstairs. When Lisa was out of their line of sight, the two broke into giggles once again.

Cute.

Lisa's now inside the black luxurious car carrying a paperbag full of cupcakes. Honestly speaking, she's so nervous.

Going to his company bringing snacks for him-she's feeling so terrible right at this moment.

"We've arrived, madame." The driver said waking her up from her thoughts, she smiled stiffly. Then the driver went out and opened the door for her.

There she was greeted by a tall, huge and luxurious company with Jeon Group of Companies in a bold and huge font.

Inhaling and exhaling deeply, she closed her eyes for a moment as if meditating before having the courage to step outside the car.
