I looked up at the mansion that burnt down after I left for college. I thought my little brother, Ciel, had burned up with it and recently heard that he is alive and head of the Phantomhive Estate. I don't mind since I could probably never do it. I'm not serious enough to.

I brought my hand up and knocked on the door. The door opened to show a tall man with a nice suit on. His hair was as dark as raven feathers and his eyes caught my attention the most. They were a beautiful red hue like rubies shining in the sun. "My lady?" He asked as his voice was as soft as silk.

"Huh?" I asked and blushed a bit, realising he was talking to me. He chuckled softly and gave a sweet smile. "I said the young master has been waiting for your arrival, Lady Ella. Please do come in." He said and opened the door more, bowing slightly with his right hand on his chest.

I slowly and shyly walked in and looked around the mansion. I covered my mouth as memories came flowing back. "The young master is in his studies. Let me take you, my lady." The man said with a smile as I nodded and walked beside him. "I don't believe I caught your name, sir." I said softly.

"Please, no need for you to call me 'sir'. I'm just a simple butler. I am Sebastian Michaelis." He said with a warm smile. He opened a door and held it open to show our father's study. I saw the little bluenette sitting professionally at the desk as he looked so mature. "Young master, your sister has arrived." Sebastian said with a slight bow.

Ciel looked up to show an eye patch over his right eye. "Ella, is that you?" He asked and stood up before walking around the desk. "Ciel, my how you've grown." I said with a smile as I see one grow on his adorable face. He ran over and hugged me tightly. I was slightly surprised and Sebastian looked surprised too.

I rested my right hand on his head while the other was on his back. "I'm so sorry. I left at the wrong time." I said as I gently petted his hair. "That doesn't matter now. You're here." He said and pulled away with a small smile. I looked at his eye patch and gently ran my thumb over it, cupping his face. "What happened to your eye?" I asked as he glanced behind me.

He sighed and walked over to behind the desk before sitting back down. "You should probably take a seat. This will be a long story." He said as I became a little worried then sat down in front of the desk. "Sebastian, fetch us some Earl Grey." He said as I looked at Sebastian. "Of course, my lord." Sebastian said and bowed again before walking out and shut the door.

"So, you made a deal with a demon and now once you finish your revenge, he gets to take your soul?" I asked as he had his eyes closed. "Yes." He simply as he opened his eyes. "Wow." I said a little speechless. "I'm sorry if it's a lot to take in, Lady Ella, but your brother was in a time of need and I happened to be the only one around." Sebastian said as I looked at my half empty cup.

"No, it's fine. I guess I would've done the same thing." I said with a small smile. "Well, if my lady is ready to rest, I have her room all clean from dust." Sebastian said as I stood up. "I guess I ought to lay down anyway. It was a long ride here." I said with a small giggle. I set the tea cup and saucer on the tray.

"Do you remember where your room is?" Ciel asked as he stood up as well and walked over. "I'm pretty sure I grew up here too, ya goof." I giggled softly and ruffle his hair. "Very well then. Goodnight, Ella." He said with a smile and fixed his hair. "Goodnight, Ci." I said with a smile and walked out. I walked up some stairs and looked around.

It has really been a long time since I've been home. I opened a dark wooden door to my room and looked around the blue and black theme. I quickly got changed into my baby blue nightgown. I walked over to my dresser and saw a locket. I gingerly picked it up and opened it to show Ciel and I messing around as I was ruffling his hair while we were laughing.

"I thought I lost this on the fire." I said softly and gently ran my finger across the silver heart locket. "The young master has informed me that it was one of your favorite treasures. I did a little special when cleaning up your room." Sebastian said as I turned around a little startled. I looked back down at the necklace.

A pair of gloved hands appeared as they gently held mine. "I would be honored to help you put it on, my lady." He said as I looked up. He smiled warmly and closed his eyes. I gently gave him the locket and turned around. I watch as he carefully put it over me. He clasped the chain together as I lifted my hand and looked down at the locket.

I smiled softly and walked over, sitting on the bed. "I really appreciate this, Sebastian. Thank you." I said and looked up at him. "Anytime, my lady. Your smile is actually quite inviting." He said as I blushed a little and smiled more. "I'm not exactly tired. Will you stay here until I am?" I asked as he looked surprised.

"Of course, my lady. Anything for you." He said with a bow and walked over sitting next to me. "You know that dent in the wall next to the front door? That was mine and Ciel's fault. We wanted to go sledding but mother said it was too cold. We decided to go sledding by using the main staircase. We went a little too fast and ran into the wall." I said and giggled a little.

"My goodness, were you okay?" He seemed to ask in slight worry. "Well, I ended up have a few bruises, but we laughed more than anything. What's life without a few bruises?" I asked with a smile as he smiled as well. I ended up telling home about all the memories I have here. Some of them even made him laugh a lot.

I yawned a bit, leaning against him. "Why don't we get you some sleep, my lady?" He asked as I nodded. I crawled the rest of the way onto my bed. He stood up and cover me up, tucking me in all snuggly. "You know, I think I'm gonna like having you around. It's so easy talking to you." I said and gave him a tired smile.

"Even though I'm taking your young brother's soul after his revenge is done?" He said as he was surprised by this. "What's his business is his." I said with a shrug. "Goodnight, Sebastian." I said with a yawn. "Goodnight, my lady. I hope you have pleasant dreams." He said and started walking out.

"And Sebastian?" I called out softly to him, causing him to pause. "Yes, my lady?" He asked softly and look at me. "Call me Ella." I said as he looked surprised then gave a small soft smile. "Of course,...Ella. Goodnight." He said and gently shut the door. I smiled more and snuggled into my pillow and duvet.
