We were riding through town as I made faced out the window while Sebastian was driving the carriage. "Ella, that's not very lady like." Ciel said with small smile. "Who said I was lady like? I don't wear those big puffy, air taking dress." I said with a smile and gestured to my jacket, leggings, brown vest, and a white button up with my scarf.

"Why don't you anyway? Your closest is filled with them." He said as I crossed my arms. "Because they're obnoxious. I'm not a princess so why dress like one? Plus, mother got tried of trying to fix them everytime we would mess around." I said as he smiled a little more. "You did always manage to rip your dresses each chance you got. I surprise you still manage to act lady like sometimes." He said with amusement.

"Ouch. I know I don't seem like it, but I do know how to act like a lady." I said and did my best lady voice I could. We came to a stop as Sebastian opened the door. "We're here, my lord." He said with a sight bow. Ciel got out first as Sebastian held his hand out for me. I gently placed my hand in his, last night's memory coming to me as I blushed light.

I shook off the feeling and looked up at the mansion. "I hate this. Too many people in London." Ciel said as Sebastian opened the door following us inside before shutting it. "There is no helping it, my lord. It's tradition of the nobility to migrate en masse town every season." Sebastian said as we walked up the steps. "Every season, eh? A waste of time if you ask me." Ciel said as I giggled. "Ci, everything is a waste of time for you." I said with a smile as he gave me a barely visible one.

"Getting away from the manor could be a nice change of pace. It's a break from those four at least. We should enjoy the peace and quiet for a time. " Sebastian said as I gently hit his arm. "Tanaka isn't that bad! All he does most of the time is laugh and drink his hot tea. When he does turn to the real Tanaka, he's peaceful and wise!" I said with my hands on my hips as he smirked.

"Right, sorry, my dear." He said and ruffled my hair. "But, some peace and quiet does sound nice." I said as we walked to a door as Sebastian opened it to show Madam Red, Grell, and Lau. "Goodness sake. Where do they keep the tea in this house?" Madam Red said as she was tossing books from a cupboard. "I can't either." Lau said, looking in a vase. I sighed and looked down.

"Don't be silly. Of course it's not in there." Madam Red said as she tossed more books. "There goes our peace and quiet." I whispered soft with my hand on my forehead. "Madam Red? Lau? Why are you here?" Ciel asked as they looked at us. "Ciel, Ella, you're early, dears. " Madam Red said with a smile. "Your sudden appearance here in town must mean-" "The Queen's Guard Dog has a new scent to follow." Madam Red said as I crossed my arms.

We sat in the dining hall as Sebastian prepared pastiers and tea. "He struck again. Another prostitute was found gruesomely murdered in White Chapel. These killings are far from normal. The level of violence we've seen is unprecedented." Ciel said as I sipped my tea. "The most recent victim was a woman named Marian Nicholls. Appears a special type of blade was used on her. She was torn up beyond recognition." I said and took a bite of dessert.

"The murderer's distinctive style of killing has earned him a unique Nick name from the press. 'Jack the Ripper'." Ciel said as I sipped my tea. "A frightening name, eh?" Lau asked as I finished my dessert. "That's why I'm here earlier than expected. I hurried into town to look into the situation myself." Ciel said as I finished my tea.

"But are you sure you'll be brave enough to stomach the crime scene?" Lau asked with a smile. "What do you mean by that?" Ciel asked as I folded my hands into my lap. "The sight of the dismembered body certainly will be horrific. And one can only imagine the stench. The blood and gore everywhere. Surely, it would be enough to drive some men mad. Are you prepared to see such a thing? You're just a young boy after all." Lau said and stood up, holding City's ear.
