Sukuna's POV

I was back in my room that I shared with my brother. I had been stoning and daydreaming when Yuji said " You really like her, huh" he observed. I flopped on the bed into the red silky sheets and looked at him, " is it that obvious?".

" Well, in my entire lifespan that I have known you, you have never stuttered or gotten flushed in front of anyone, let alone a girl. Everyone thought that you were born without any feelings.You're always so stoic in front of anyone who isn't family." he said absentmindedly, twiddling his fingers.

"Really?" I mused. " Y/N seems... special... i guess". But she's more than that. In the time at that.. in another world that I met her, there was this undeniable attraction,like my life was whole. The happiness coming from the depths of my heart that makes me want to laugh. Every little action, facial expression and little gestures. I feel almost possessive, I want her all to myself, I didn't want to share.

"You're doing it again" yuji's voice snapped me back to reality. "Doing what?" "the thing where you think about Y/N and smile to yourself like a madman" " I do not-" i was interrupted by our father knocking and coming into our room. " father?" we both said in unison, cocking our heads curiously. "Sons" he greeted us warmly. " i have to go for a mission with lord L/N and we leave at dusk. Your mother isn't thrilled about it but nonetheless I still have to go" he explained, rubbing the back of his neck. " I need you boys to take care of your mother while I'm away" he said. We both nodded. We of all people know first hand how anxious and listless our dear mother gets while father is away. We both nodded and Yuji gave a thumbs up.

His mouth cracked the barest hint of a smile, evidently worried for dear mother's sanity. He opened his arms, inviting us into a hug. Yuji and I exchanged glances before going into our father's embrace. Yuji melted into the hug immediately while I stiffened initially, eventually melting into the hug as well. His embrace was... nice....and warm. After a few minutes he let go of us and patted our heads, before trudging off to our parent's shared sleeping chamber.

"I'm going to Y/N's room now," Yuji only nodded. I slowly walked around the house,trying to figure out where her room was. It was a big house, and after wandering around I stopped and looked at the full moon. It was peaceful, quiet. I saw out of my peripheral vision a girl walking around. It was the same girl that I saw last time. "Hey! Excuse me," she turned around, startled and relaxed once she saw me " yes master?" she said, " ah, do you perhaps know where Lady Y/N' s room is?" " o-oh! Of course! Please,follow me" she briskly walked as I followed her. She stopped in front of a lilac sliding door.''ah,thank you..?" -i trailed off- "michiyo,master, i'm glad i was of help" she bowed and disappeared into the house. I slid open the door and there she was.

Y/N was sitting on her bed, in a simple white nightgown, but with the moon illuminating her she looked ethereal, in her pink silky sheets. As soon as she saw me her face lit up with excitement. My heart was racing as I struggled to keep a calm composure. "Hi princess," I murmured. I wasted no time getting into bed beside her, secretly excited to hold her in my arms. I can't possibly explain this feeling but i love it. The way she makes my heart race when she smiles at me and how she smiled so brightly. I haven't known her for a long time but it feels like I've known her all my life. She scooted next to me as I wrapped my arm around her body, her head finally resting on my chest. We chatted pleasantly aimlessly. She talks most of the time and i just listen,giving her my opinion when needed. Her floral shampoo intoxicated my nostrils pleasantly as a comfortable silence as we laid there. "So what do you want to do now then?"

"Mmm, how about... reading a story?''she suggested.i simply nod " reading it is" i got out of the bed and toward a shelf filled with books.i picked a random one. Greek Mythology. Interesting. We both quickly snuggled with each other and started reading. Some stupid titan who ate his children for fear that they would overtake his throne. In the end? He got chopped up and his kids overtook his beloved throne. "That's pretty dumb, they ended up doing the thing he feared most" "and the fact that Zeus and his siblings had to be inside theri father, like ew" Y/N scrunched her nose up.cute. I let a small chuckle. I continued the story as i felt Y/N's breathing slow down. She must be asleep. I watched her for a while and whispered

"Goodnight princess, sweet dreams"

I set the book gently on her nightstand and got in a more comfortable position. As I held her in my arms, I soon fell asleep too. This is something I could get used to.
