"Very well, b-b-ut on one c-c-condition, only one of you c-c-can visit the m-m-maiden. This is to ensure the m-m-maiden's safe-t-ty." it said. Slowly flights of staircases appeared. Sukuna was rather reluctant to let her be alone,and it seemed that she felt same way. She gripped his sleeves tightly and frowned at the staircase all whilst glaring at it as well. How cute,he thought. He slowly released her iron grip,and embraced her. She embraced him back and her frown deepened.

"There, there, i don't like the idea either,but one of us must do it. Stay here okay? I'll be back. "

"Promise?"

" promise.". With that the pinkette male made his way down the stairs as the lake closed in behind him. He turned back only to her wave at him. At the end was a long, dimly lit cavern with a sparse number of lanterns lighting the place. Slowly a golden throne room came into view. Above them is a dome-like ceiling , with teeming marine life going about their day. He was so absorbed by the room he didnt realise the glowing maiden in front of him.

"Ahem.." he looked at her startled, and blushed in embarrassment. She was pretty,blue eyes like sapphires and long flowy white hair as bright as starlight ,not as pretty like his Y/N. his Y/N. the thought warmed his body. That gave him motivation to quickly get this done and over with.

"uhm..yes , im Ryomen Sukuna and my soulmate Y/N L/N is waiting upstairs and we would like to know our future life together please, i want to get back to her". He stood straighter and a proud glow emanated from him.

How cute, she thought. He seems to be genuinely happy with his soulmate. "Alright, i shall try, but i must warn you, your future may not be smooth sailing, but you must never ever try to alter your fate with her and she with you . the consequences would be dire if you did. And never try to appear before me in any other way, chances are, who you're contacting is not me, but a malicious entity. Now that i have you warned are you ready?"

She outstretched her arms and motioned him to do the same. He held his hands until her palms were almost touching his. And her eyes seemed to glow a bright golden hue.

"Love like no other," she said, in a trance

"A tragedy like no other, ends in a bittersweet note,"

"Immense power, one will rule with fear, and one who fears the rule"

"The two frayed ends will meet once again,"

"For they who left comforts of home will find peace in the skies"

The maiden slowly opened her eyes to reveal her two sapphire orbs,deep and emotionless.

"Now, that was a very...interesting. I have never come across such a... intricate future! I wouldn't dwell on it if i were you,it can drive even those with the strongest of minds utterly mad. Anyways, you should concentrate on both of your powers,for it is a rare occurrence and i doubt the only person who can tell you more is no longer alive." she said, ending the ceremony,

"Any questions?" she asked.

"No , i think i got it." he said , trying to digest what just happened. What powers? What rule? What's going to happen with him and Y/N? So many questions swimming inside his head. He took a deep breath and cleared his mind. "Okay...okay. Im ready to go back up now". He said, anxious to get back to his h/c girl.

The maiden smiled and raised her hand and the staircase opened up. Just before he even step foot on the first step, he heard his name being called. He turned around and saw that the maiden had ran to him holding an object wrapped in cloth and a note that said:

This is for her,Y/N,and nobody should open it- not even you- with the exception of her. When the time is right, she will get an urge to open it. Tell her that no matter when she got it, she MUST be alone when she opens the bundle, as it is only privy to her. Tell her not to lose it and to let anyone else see it, not even you. Tell her to keep it somewhere where nobody wold have suspected. If ,heaven forbids this will happen, if Y/N passes on ransack the entire house and once you find the bundle, DESTROY it. Nobody should have access to it.

Okayy..he thought. What was inside, he thought, but best decided not to go against the Maiden. As he got closer to the surface, he quickened his pace until he was running up the stairs. The fresh wind hit his face as the reached the top. He looked around and saw Y/N , laying on the the grass playing with the column of water, he smiled to himself. She was someone he could at all day and not get bored. Oh how soft he became for a girl he barely met. But if he was going to spend the rest of his life with someone, he wouldn't regret being with her.

"Hi darling,miss me ?" he whispered in her ear, earning a flushed and frantic response from the girl. After calming down, she jumped into his arms and hugged him. It took a second to register before hugging her back.

" can we stay like this forever,suki? Can i call you suki?" she mumbled into his shoulder.

"Of course, you can call me that... Suki...i like it." he chuckled  

Sukuna just stood there watching the white fluffy clouds pass him by. Oh what a wonderful feeling this is, he thought to himself. Y/N slowly pulled back from the hug and looked up at the sky, her eyes seems a hundred times brighter with the colours of the rainbow dancing in her eyes, like a diamond thats under a spotlight, every facet of it reflects a different colour.

It was peaceful and tranquil here. A literal haven, the clear sky with fluffy and dense clouds floating aimlessly in the sky. I don't want to come back to reality, they thought.

Soon afterwards the both of them started running out of breath. Y/N crumpled on the floor and sukuna struggled to stay on his feet. "

"No!" he rasped as his vision got blurry.the last thing he heard was Y/N whispering his name

"See you suki" was all he heard. And he fell into the void,going to back to reality. I will find you love, he vowed, even if i dont find you in this life, i swear i will give you the life you deserve..
