It was 10:40 a.m. Central Standard Time and there were two homies resting in two queen sized beds that had been pushed together. Jeremy, who had been sleeping on the left, due to always sleeping on the left side of things, stirs a bit and wakes up with wide eyes.
"Dude." he says to his radical pal, "Would you consider Shawn Mendes to be a twink?" he asks with a sort of calm urgency. Chad opens his eyes slowly and laughs a little before giving Jeremy a thumbs up and covering his own face with a blanket to shield his amber eyes from the sun. "Haha noice." Jeremy says as he lays back where he was resting.
Chad then lifts the blanket from his face and looks at his compatriot. "What if, instead of growing more skin as you got older, you just had it when you were born? You'd just have so much excess skin."
Jeremy looks at his friend with a confused expression. "Well, my dear homie, that would be awesome but absolutely disgusting." Jeremy then hops out of bed with a smile and walks over to his closet where he opens a drawer and pulls out a towel. "And on that note, I will be getting cleaned up. As you know, you are free to stay as long as you like and to help yourself to anything in the house, but if you cook uh make me something as well." Jeremy walks into the bathroom that is attached to his bedroom and he shuts the door behind him.
Chad slowly sits up with a groan as he is not by any means a morning person. He scans the room to see if he brought a tote bag of clothing, but alas he finds that he did not bring one. It isn't a problem though. He doesn't smell too bad and he can just help himself to a bottle of cologne or perfume from Jeremy's bathroom after he finishes his shower. While thinking about his dear friend, Chad's attention leans to the bathroom where steam billows out of the crack
beneath the door and the sounds of running water and Jeremy singing Livin' La Vida Loca. Chad chuckles at this and lays back down and rubs his eyes and he builds up the energy to get up. After a few minutes, Chad gets up and walks down the hall and to the kitchen. As he
walks he scans the walls and enjoys the artwork he sees the walls laden with. Jeremy was very passionate about using photoshop to make plenty of art pieces. When Chad makes his way to the kitchen he makes a pot of coffee for the two of them. He makes it black. Neither of them like coffee at all so they just drink it black to save money. Just before he begins to choke down the steaming cup of coffee, Jeremy enters the kitchen and grins.
"Haha yes! I didn't miss your coffee face." The face that Jeremy is referring to is a scrunched up and very disgusted face that Chad makes every time he drinks coffee. "Go on, homie. Don't let me stop ya." Chad gives him a joking snear and proceeds to down his cup of coffee and make the aforementioned coffee face which earns a cackling laugh from Jeremy. Jeremy is clad in a white tee shirt and black basketball shorts while Chad wears a similar outfit but the colors are swapped.
Chad puts down the cup and shivers in disgust before donning his million dollar smile that he typically wears. "It really isn't that funny. Like, I understand the first time, but you've been laughing at it for five years now. How do you keep finding it that funny?"
As Jeremy's laughing fit subsides he says, "Oh my dearest homie, I have absolutely positively no clue as to why that is so funny to me." Jeremy returns the smile and catches his breath. "So I need to head out to work in about 4 hours. Any plans for the day?"
"Hmmm," Chad said with a furrowed brow as he tried to think of any plans that he may have had. "I don't believe I had anything planned and my phone doesn't say that I have anything either. So I guess I'm free for the day to relax."
"Epic." says Jeremy as he begins to prepare some breakfast for the two. Hashbrowns in the oven and waffles on the stove. Jeremy has a stovetop waffle maker for each of the four burners on his stove as well as the space to use them all simultaneously. While Jeremy is cooking breakfast, Chad is sitting on a stool next to the bar which is located adjacent to the stove. The two maintain a lighthearted conversation and the day is started well
