Supriseingly, Halloween came fast, before wilbur could comprehend what was going on ghostbur was already putting skeletons in front of their house and fake bloody handprints on the outside walls.

As much as wilbur didn't expect it, ghostbur was pretty happy Halloween had arrived so fast.

And of course, ghostbur's enthusiasm about Halloween had a few.... less exciting moments...

"Come on, it'll be so fun!" Ghostbur excitedly said, jumping up and down as wilbur only sighed.

"I'm not doing a couples costume with you... who'll even see it? Your not even aloud outside the house"

Wilbur sqeezed his nose, sighing frustrated.

"C'mon, wilbur, just this once. If I'm not allowed to leave at least let me make my stay worth while." The ghost asked as he took wilbur's hands in his as they stared lovingly into each others eyes.

A pint of sadness in both

"Aren't I enough? Doesn't me being here worth while enough?" Wilbur whispered quietly, moving closer and closer to ghostbur's face.

"You are, but I'd like to have fun with you instead of just hanging out and doing nothing..."

Their lips met softly as they shared the moment together for a few minutes in silence

"I love you wilbur"

"I love you too..."

Ghostbur's hands met with the sides of wilbur's face as they just stared at each other.

"Alright! Let's get this party started now!" Ghostbur shouted, startling wilbur in the process.

Wilbur let out a quiet chuckle, smiling lighty as he left the house to find some stupid costume while leaving ghostbur alone to plan his.

The lights lit the path slightly as the sound of footsteps steps filled the air quietly. The hallucination of the smell of treats filled the air as wilbur gathered cocoa beans and other ingredients for the sweats he craved at the moment.

"Wilbur, I need to talk to you about something..."

Startled, wilbur look back quick to see Tommy staring straight at him.

"Can I help you?-" Wilbur asked before being interrupted by Tommy

"I don't know of what I saw was real or not last night, but if I really saw ghostbur then your gonna need to explain some things" Tommy said with a shaking voice, trying his best not to sound intimidated by the man in front of him staring down with pure hatred.

The forest seemed to quiet down as wilbur only met eyes with the younger boy in front of him.

The silence seemed to drive Tommy crazy every minute as he tried his best not to shift uncomfortably in his spot.
