One after another, small spices were placed onto the kitchen counter as Ghostbur took out chicken from the chest and handed it to Wilbur who just got done placing down the ingredients for the meal.

Music played lightly in the background, of course, the only sound Wilbur paid attention to was ghostbur's footsteps tapping to the rhythm of "wait".

The somewhat joyful tone, if you could call it that, seemed to fill Ghostbur with pure excitement as he moved hastily to Wilbur's side and held him close.

"So what's the food for today, chef?" Ghostbur whispered, not for any reason though.

A soft kiss found its way onto Wilbur's cheek as Wilbur only pulled away to bring the kiss to his lips. A hand was placed softly on ghostbur's face as it caressed him softly before Wilbur moved back and continued on the meal for two.

"Well, I was thinking about chicken and soup. Considering how cold it's been I felt like soup would be perfect for the season" Wilbur smiled as he sprinkled the right amount of spices on the chicken before placing it in the oven and waiting.

Somewhere though, things weren't as happy.

A young boy had found himself trudging through the open forest, catching himself as he slipped in the wet muddy terrain, yelling curses every so often when he wasn't able to keep a steady grip, sending him falling face first.

"Stupid Wilbur, and his stupid... argh! Just stupid!" He mumbled, as much as he hated to admit it.

He was lost

Lost in a place he wasn't familiar with, lost in a place with practically no hope of escaping, lost, just lost.

He still wanted to try to get out though, sure he wasn't all that hopeful but he was stubborn. You'll be surprised how far that could get you. Not only was he lost, wet, and hurt. He was angry. Angry at Wilbur for abandoning him like that, his own brother just leaving him stranded in the middle of nowhere.

With clenched fists he pulled his way through the forest, trying his best not to slip like his past self had failed to do. He had to talk to wilbur, he had to ask him about ghostbur, he would've asked if ghostbur was real but a quick punch to the jaw from his brother made him quickly realize two things;

1. Ghostbur definitely was real because wilbur tried to hide it by punching him

2. Why was Wilbur trying to hide ghostbur?

It didn't make sense for him, and as much as he tried to think of answers, nothing came to be found. From what he could see before when sneaking a peek through the window, they seemed happy, too happy. Don't get him wrong he loved seeing his brother happy, but it's been awhile since he's seen such a genuine, non-manipulative smile.

He smiled at the thought of his brother turning around, maybe, maybe, they could start anew, maybe he could change Wilbur's view on dream, maybe Wilbur could at least apologize for everything he had done.

As much as Tommy didn't want to, he pushed the thought away, still very upset over the pain in his jaw and the fact that, well, I don't know..., he's completely lost in the middle of some forest! He sighed angrily as he sat down on a random rock that seemed big enough to hold his weight and be comfortable(well as comfortable as you could get with a rock) enough to not hurt for a good few minutes.

It had already become nightfall again as he stared up at the stars, trying his best to count them, but of course cursing loudly when it failed completely because as soon as he knew it he had lost track and started counting the same ones he started with. He decided it was best to find shelter and take a nice nap, since he had been walking all morning and by the fact he didn't want to get killed by some dumb skeleton.

And before he knew it, he was back on his feet, searching for shelter and probably a snack since he was very, very, low on hunger. He was practically drooling over the thought of a nice warm snack to munch on as his nose played tricks on him, the smell of fresh cooked beef led him through the forest as he took notice apon a small cabin in the woods.

It seemed familiar to him but with his eyes getting blurry and a splitting headache he just couldn't seem to find way, as much as he tried to figure out what was so familiar he found himself swaying from side to side, his stomach rumbling as he felt his body fall to the ground, hitting his head roughly on the ground.

"Great, another injury to worry about..." He winced as he moved to his side, still staring at the house while his vision started going black.

Now not only was he dying, he was still lost, scared, and very much pissed. As he stared up at the sky once last time, waiting for his time to go. This would've been a very sad moment for him but he was to stupid to actually want to admit it.

"Welp, goodbye world or something" he sighed as he finally closed his eyes, arms open, taking in the cold breeze as he felt it push his hair and caress his face. And just like that, he was out.

"Tommy?"
