A/N: YALL, I KEEP FORGETTING MY WATTPAD EXISTS, IM SO SORRY ✋️😭

"So..." George began as Dream gave him his dinner and held Sapnap's plate out to him, "What would happen if I accepted to be in Iris' flock?"

Sapnap mumbled, "Who the hell is Iris?"

The falcon beside George clicked and fluttered her folded wings. "Oh, you. Got it."

Dream hummed, "Well, you'd be seen as not only an ally, but part of a family. That's what wyvern flocks are. Really, they're a bunch of those winged dinosaurs, blood related or not, in a group that protects each other as much as possible."

"A wyvern can be in a flock that's half the world away. It's a bond that doesn't have to be physical, but I think they prefer it that way," Sapnap added as he shoved a spoonful of mashed potatoes in his mouth.

"They mark each other's aura to basically tell all dragons that they're a part of a flock. It's a warning to those that want to harm one of them. Wyverns give back what's done to them," Dream spoke softly as he looked at George with a small smile, "Are you considering joining Iris' flock?"

George chuckled and took a carrot slice in his mouth without an answer. Sapnap scoffed, "I think that's a yes, Dream."

The human swallowed his food, "Assuming one doesn't have to be a wyvern, are you in Iris' flock, Dream?"

"Nope. And you're right, a wyvern by themselves can create a flock with any subtype. Usually, you don't see it since they live in the mountains and a forest with tall trees. Wyverns and fae dragons are the ones that typically live there. Fae dragons like being alone. Beckerson is attached to our dragon's nest though, so he couldn't give two fucks about being by himself or being in a house full of other dragons."

"Wait, didn't Iris ask George to be in her flock because he helped you with her wounds?"

Dream dropped a piece of meat to Patches discreetly, but George saw it, "Not really. She was touched when George decided to save her despite being a hunter. He could've easily said no to whatever I asked him to do, but he didn't and that ultimately saved her life. It's my job to help the injured, it's George's job to hunt."

"So you go against the grain to get over five dragons in the nest wrapped around your finger? That's all I have to do?"

"Mars, Para, and Patches loved me before Iris even came along," George laughed as Dream took a carrot in his mouth.

"You're forgetting about Dream."

Dream coughed on the carrot, "Wh-What?"

"Nothing."

George laughed at Dream's flushed cheeks, ignoring the soft heat that reached his own, "What's got you all red, Dream?"

"Sh-Shut up," Dream drank his water to soothe his throat, "I was literally choking to death just now."

"Oh, Sapnap, Dream speaks to me ever so harshly, whatever shall I do?"

The amber-eyed shifter laughed, "I see your broken heart, though I know not how to heal it."

"Dream, you have broken my pretty little heart," George feigned a pout.

The blond rolled his eyes, "Okay, I think that's enough out of you. Wipe that pout off of that pretty little face of yours, darling."

"WHAT?" George flinched at Sapnap's sudden burst, "What the hell, Dream! I said to tell me!"

"What? Tell you what?"

The Brit laughed with a slightly embarrassed blush, "Sapnap, he just calls me that for no real reason. There's nothing behind it."

Dream's heartstrings were tugged the wrong way when George said that. Sapnap scoffs once more, "That's bullshit. You don't call friends 'darling' out of nowhere."
