"What role will I play in Dr Romantic?" I asked.

One of the staff nodded her head and said, "You will play the role of a doctor named Kang Dong-joo." The staff continued explaining the role.

"Do you have any more questions?" I hummed and nodded my head. "Why can't I do both projects?"

"If you decided to do both, the chances of you being able to participate in your group's variety show is very slim because the schedules clashed with each other." Miss Park answered.

I forgot that we will have our first variety show this year. It's something that I can't miss because it will be one of our last shows together as a complete group. We won't be able to do the show next year as Changmin won't be around.

"I will think about it first." I told them. They nodded their heads and smiled. I left the building with the thoughts of which drama I will be choosing.

Timeskip

The moment I arrived at Taeyeon's apartment I saw her sleeping peacefully on the couch and the TV was still on.

She must have been waiting for me. I looked at my watch and cursed under my breath. I didn't realise that It was already very late.

I picked her up, bridal style, and made my way to her bedroom. I softly lay her down and kissed her on the forehead. As I was about to leave her room, I heard her speak.

"Y-Y/N?"

I turned my body to face her as her eyes slowly opened. She rubbed her eyes to remove the sleepiness that she's currently facing. She then sat up and patted the empty spot beside her. Motioning for me to sit.

I did what I was told to do.

"So what was the meeting about?" Taeyeon asked.

"It's about offers to star in a drama." I replied.

"Offers?"

I nodded my head and said, "Two offers." Taeyeon gleefully smiled and teased, "Aigoo! You striked once again!" I chuckled.

I went ahead and explained what else happened in the meeting.

"You already know which drama to star in, don't you?" Taeyeon asked. I nodded my head and said, "Even though I want to star in both, I am leaning more on the other one."

Taeyeon nodded her head and smiled. I weakly smiled back as I realised that we won't be able to spend time with each other once again.

Taeyeon noticed the change in my expression and cupped my face and asked in a concerned tone, "What's bothering you?" I gave her a fake smile and shook her head. She looked at me sternly.
