She looks in the mirror
And observes a reflection of who she really is
Sadness starts to take over her
Because she is not pretty enough
The system doesn't have a place for her to fit in
It treats her like a bag of rubbish
It criticizes and judges her
Busy telling her that she is not worthy enough
She is not beautiful enough
She is not smart enough
She falls down to the floor
Crying her eyes out because of the torture in her life
She doesn't witness the beauty in her
The kindness in her
The gentleness in her
She gets up, wipes her tears and starts smiling
She smiles away the disasters she battled.
The anger, the pain
She looked at the mirror again and saw her true self
She realized and discovered who she was
She was a woman full of dignity and integrity
One who stood her ground
And a princess who owned her throne.
