01. happy anniversary

It's our 1st wedding anniversary so I made sure that I am available for today. I even filed a leave so that I can be with my husband for the entire day.

Me:
Hey love, what time are you going home?

Love:
OT in the office love. Please don't wait for me. 

Great! mukhang nakalimutan nga nya! I cleaned the dinner I cooked, went to the bathroom for a quick shower then changed into my new lingerie. So much effort for today, what a waste. I texted my bestfriend so bent out.

Me:
OT sya, nakalimutan atang anniversary namin today. 

Bestie:

That's sad bestie. Baka naman isurprise ka later. wait mo na lang.
Me:
Can I call?

Bestie:
Yeah sure I have a minute to spare.

Ring...

"hey, Im sorry are you busy?" I asked guiltily

"Oh..ahh... hmmm no, I just went out with a friend. Hey I got to go"

she ended the call, hirap na hirap huminga ah, probably with one of her boyfriends. I just dialled my husbands number na lang but it's out of reached. Doubts started to fill up in my mind.
I disregarded every thoughts and just go to sleep with a heavy heart.

2:00am and I heard the door opened, it must be him. He went to shower immediately, I pretended to be asleep. Minutes later he joined me in bed and when I knew he's asleep I woke up and checked his phone.

And there, my heart shattered into pieces. I tried to dial the number using my phone, calling (Bestie)....

I dropped his phone which creates noise. It woke him up. Napahawak ako sa puso ko, trying not to cry but I cant help it. I just cried so much.
After he realized that I discovered his affair, he tried to hold me, but I pushed him away.

"Don't fucking touch me!" I screamed

"Please baby, let me explain" He's eyes were bloodshot and trying to reach out again but I refuse. Kinuha ko ang maleta ko sa walk in closet, get as much clothes as I could. Pero kinukuha nya at binabalik nya iyon sa cabinet.

"Dont leave me baby please, Im sorry, Im so sorry! I'll do anything, just dont leave me!" He hugged me from behind, I tried removing his hands off me.

"We're done, talk to my lawyer tomorrow. Fine, you can give my clothes to your mistress, it's your money anyway, you disgusting son of a bitch"

Wala akong mailagay na damit sa maleta ko dahil tinatanggal din naman nya, I went downstairs for my car keys.

Nasa pinto sya nagmamakaawa pa din sa akin, lumuhod pa sya sa pinto paharap sa akin, "Baby, let's talk about this when your calm, not now please."

"I am calm, I told you before, I can be forgiving, but don't you fucking dare make me a fool, coz even if you're my husband, I can drop you like a hot potato."

Binuksan ko ang pinto, he looks defeated. "Oh by the way, happy breakup anniversary"
And that's the last time I have seen my husband. 

Yes, husband coz my lawyer cant get him sign the annulment papers I sent him.
