Louis had texted Zayn after the boys left.

Zayn

Me: Zayn

Zayn: OMG Lou I'm so sorry

Me: Zayn I want to talk to you tomorrow after class. I'm giving you one chance to explain. Don't fuck it up

Zayn: Thanks a lot Lou. I really am sorry.

Me: Just so you know the only reason I'm talking to you is because Haz told me to.

Next day Louis was taking Harry to school.

"I'm talking to Zayn today." He told Harry.

"Good" Harry said.

"Harry are you sure?"

"Yes Lou. I want you to be happy and Zayn should also get a chance. So yes."

"Okay"

Louis was nervous the whole day. He was avoiding Zayn at all costs.

He was with the guys and Liya during lunch.

"Lou everything will be okay" Harry said noticing how scared Louis was.

"Hey Lou he is your best friend. It won't be bad." Liya said reassuringly. Niall and Liya were really happy together. They had started dating and Liya was very friendly with the other guys as well. She knew everything that happened.

"Yeah" Louis said still tensed.

Harry took Louis' hand in his and looked at him.

"It will be okay" he said with a smile.

Louis smiled back at him and nodded.

Niall, Liam and Liya exchanged knowing looks with a smile. They could see the fond in Louis' eyes when he looked at Harry and they knew both the boys truly cared about each other.

Harry and Louis were going to Louis' car.

"Louis" they heard Zayn call them from behind.

"I'll leave you to talk. I'll wait in your car." Harry said.

Louis nodded. Harry could see Louis was very nervous. He hugged Louis tight.

"It's going to be okay." Harry said.

"Thanks" Louis said pulling apart and smiling at Harry. Harry smiled back and got into the car. Louis walked towards Zayn.

"You have one chance." he told Zayn.

"My parents got a divorce" Zayn said, his head hung low.

"Oh my God Zayn why didn't you tell me earlier?" Louis said hugging Zayn. He was still mad but Zayn was his best friend.

"I don't know Lou. I was scared. They used to fight a lot but this was a lot to take in and I could not talk to anyone because I was scared." Zayn said. He was now crying into Louis' shirt.

"Shh it's okay" Louis said still holding Zayn close to him.

"I know this is no excuse but being mean to Harry made me feel stronger. Made me feel I have control over something. I know that is no reason for doing that to him but I was devastated Lou and I was scared. I did not think before doing any of those. All I knew was that I felt stronger and maybe I thought of it as a distraction from everything that was happening. I don't know Louis. I am sorry. Really very sorry. I know what I did was wrong and I do feel very bad about it. I know I should not have done that. I'm sorry" Zayn said still crying.

"I'm sorry about your parents Z. You should have told me earlier. And about what you did to H, yes it was wrong. I get you were distressed about everything else happening but that is no reason to hurt someone else. But thank you for owning up to your mistakes and thank you for apologising. You are still my best friend Zayn. I am still mad at you a bit but you are my best friend. I forgive you Z but Harry is the person you have to actually apologise to." Louis said.

"Thank you Lou and I know. I will talk to him now. God I'm so sorry." Zayn said pulling away from Louis and wiping his tears.

"Come on then" Louis said pulling Zayn towards his car.

"Hazzy Zayn wants to talk to you" Louis told Harry.

"Oh okay" Harry said and got out of the car.

"Hi Harry." Zayn said not looking at Harry.

"Hi" Harry said.

"Listen Harry I'm really sorry for what I did to you. I know it was wrong and I know I don't deserve to be forgiven but I wanted to apologise. Harry my parents split up and I took that really hard. I guess I took out my stress on you. I know that's no excuse for what I did but I wanted you to know. I really am extremely sorry for what I did and I do feel very bad." Zayn said tears in his eyes.

Harry brought Zayn close to him and hugged him close to his chest.

"Oh Zayn. I'm so sorry for what happened to you. I understand where you are coming from. It's okay Z I forgive you." Harry said and Zayn started to cry into Harry's shirt.

"It's okay Zaynie" Harry said.

Louis stood near them watching with a smile on his face. He could not believe how nice Harry was being about all of this.

Harry had texted Niall and Liam about what happened after he got home. They were not very forgiving at first but Harry convinced them that Zayn was genuinely sorry and explained his situation to them. Louis and Zayn had also texted them. Zayn apologised to them a lot. They forgave him for Harry's sake but said they would not forgive him this easy if he even thinks about hurting Harry again. Since then all five of them started hanging out together. There was tension in the beginning but soon they were all really good with each other.

Though Zayn was relatively new to the group even he noticed that Louis and Harry were closer than everyone else. Niall and Liam talked to him about larry. Now everyone knew about larry except for larry themselves.
