Falling... [ON HIATUS]

Ever since Louis stopped talking to Zayn he has been hanging out with Harry, Niall and Liam almost everyday. He sat with them during lunch and as he had said he always picked up Harry from home before school and dropped him back home after. He also took Niall and Liam to his house.

"No way Lou. Your house is so fucking huge." Niall had said with wide eyes when he first saw the house.

Louis had introduced them to his parents when they were home one day. James made them lots to eat whenever all of them were around, which was a lot since they mostly hang out at Louis'. This was what Niall liked most. James would make him anything he wanted to eat and Louis was now convinced that pizza was Niall's soulmate.

Louis had also met Harry's mother. She loves him. Louis made Harry tell her about everything. There were a lot of tears. Anne forgave Louis and thanked him for taking care of her baby. Louis said he would always take care of him. Anne could see him being a part of Harry's life for a really long time.

It's been a month but Louis had not talked to Zayn yet. Zayn did try to talk to him in school and tried texting but Louis never responded. He stopped trying after two weeks. It was evident that Zayn was hurting. He stopped bullying Harry. He pretty much closed himself off from everyone. Louis had friends, yes, but he was also hurting because Zayn was his best friend and it hurts when you lose a best friend. Harry had noticed how Louis is always happy around others but was hurting on the inside. He could see that Louis smiled lesser than usual and his eyes did not hold as much happiness as it used to earlier.

Speaking of Harry, larry has had some progress. Neither Louis nor Harry has said anything about liking the other but it was pretty evident to Liam and Niall. Whenever they used to hang out Louis and Harry would always be together never leaving the side of the other. Whenever they sat together Louis and Harry would cuddle with each other, Louis always playing with Harry's hair. They always had a smile whenever they were around each other. When Niall and Liam were alone, all Niall had to talk about was larry and how his ship is sailing smooth and that it is only a matter of time before they realise they like each other.

Liam, Niall, Harry and Louis were hanging out at Louis' as usual. They were in Louis' room. Niall was sitting on a chair. Liam was seated at the edge of Louis' bed and Louis and Harry were cuddling on the bed. This was how they usually spent the day. Harry would be sitting beside Louis with his hands around Louis' waist and his head on Louis' chest and Louis' hands would be around Harry's shoulders hugging Harry close to his chest.

"I am going to the kitchen. I am staaaaarving. Anyone coming?" Niall said.

"You are always starving" Harry said and Louis laughed.

"I am coming. I am hungry too" Liam said.

When they both left Harry looked up at Louis and called him.

"Lou?" he said.

"Yeah?"

"I think you should talk to Zayn" Harry said.

Louis let go of Harry and looked at him in shock.

"What?" Louis asked.

"I think you should talk to Zayn. I know you are sad Lou. Please just talk to him." Harry said.

"Harry he-" Louis started to say.

Harry sat up straight. He took Louis' hands into his own.

"Louis he hurt me. But he was your best friend. I know it is hard for you to see your best friend do something behind your back. But Lou you are hurting and from what I see so is Zayn. He has no one now and he is not talking to anyone. He needs his best friend and so do you. Lou he treated me badly but you were not very nice to me either but we are friends now right? I trust you as much as I trust Liam or Niall and that's saying a lot. Louis I don't want to see you like this. I want you to be happy. I know you miss Zayn. So talk to him. Give him one more chance. Let him explain once. Please?"

Harry held Louis' hands close to his chest while looking into Louis' eyes.

"Harry I don't know. I'll talk to him but I don't know how it will go" Louis said.

Harry smiled. "Text him. Tell him you want to talk" he said.

"I will text him today." Louis said.

Niall and Liam came back with sandwiches in their hands.

"So what did I miss?" Niall asked.

"Louis is going to talk to Zayn" Harry said with a smile.

"WHAT?" Niall asked. Liam was looking at Louis with wide eyes.

"Harry told me to talk to Zayn" Louis said.

"YOU WHAT?" Niall asked Harry. Liam was now looking at Harry with wide eyes.

"Louis was sad and I could see that. I don't want him to be sad. Zayn is not feeling any better either. They were best friends for God's sake. How would you feel if I didn't talk to you for weeks? So I told Louis to give Zayn a chance to explain." Harry explained.

"Ok" Niall said still confused.

Liam just looked worried.

"It's ok. I want Louis to be happy and maybe Zayn has an explanation? We should give him a chance." Harry said.

Louis smiled at Harry and hugged him tight. Niall and Liam looked at them with knowing smiles on their faces.
