I waited patiently as to what would happen next. Then suddenly, my body quivered

down to my neck and shoulders. Before the end,
I breathed heavily, and
picked the most precious item in front of me,
And by a snap, I heard a bang!My body slammed to the ground in a split second.
I saw flashes of distorted images:
A body, a gun, and a room. These are the three things I could remember,
It was I who held the gun,
The one who was left in the shadows,
Alone in a place I once called home.
