*ring *ring*

sukuna groaned as he grabbed his phone, looking at the called id with squinted eyes due to being woken up from a nap.

he picked up the call and pressed his phone against his ear "hello?"

"sukuna? sorry, did i wake you up?" shuji's voice could be heard from the phone.

sukuna sat up and rubbed his eyes "it's fine. what do you want?" he asked as he looked out the window.

"let'a go on a date. i'm waiting outside of your house." shuji said before quickly hanging up, not even giving sukuna a chance to refuse.

sukuna sighed, knowing he didn't have much of a choice. he didn't wanna go outside when it was currently raining, but whatever.

sukuna got up and put on some comfortable clothes, grabbed his phone and walked out of the house.

though, he announced that he was leaving "i'm going out!" he yelled, "okay! be careful!" he heard his grandpa yell.

sukuna grabbed an umbrella before leaving the house as well.

he was about to open up the umbrella but shuji already had his own umbrella open, above sukuna's head.

"hey there, love." shuji greeted with a smile on his face.

the petname caused sukuna to blush slightly "yo, shuji." he greeted back, with no petname or nickname to shuji's disappointment.

"where are we off to?" sukuna asked, earning a chuckle from shuji in response "to the caffe where we had the cheesecakes."

sukuna made a ':o' face "our favourite caffe?" he asked, earning a nod from shuji "yup!"

sukuna nodded in response "alright, i'll try something different today. any recommendations?"

sukuna asked as they walked their way there, shuji's arm around sukuna's waist as shuji held an umbrella in his free hand above the both of them.

shuji looked up for a bit "hmm... the coffee flavoured cheesecake is delicious. you should try that one." he said as he looked down in sukuna.

sukuna glanced up at shuji before nodding "alright, today we'll eat coffee flavoured cheesecakes."

shuji chuckled "you seem to like the cheesecakes, eh?" he said.

sukuna shrugged "they aren't too sweet, which is how i like it." he said, shuji nodding in response as he stopped walking, making sukuna also stop.

"we're here." shuji said as he let go of sukuna's waist and closed the umbrella before they both stepped into the caffe.

they greeted the old lady before they ordered two coffee flavoured cheesecakes and one big iced coffee that they'll share. and some water.

the two sat down at the table they were sitting at the last time they were here.

"so, what's with the sudden date?" sukuna asked, making himself comfortable on the chair.

"glad you asked." shuji said before reaching into his pocket, pulling out a small black box.

"i wanted to give you this." shuji said, handing him the black box. sukuna grabbed the box as he looked at shuji suspiciously.

sukuna opened the box, his eyes widening as he saw two rings inside the box.

both of them were silver, one of them thick and with a butterfly hole in the middle, while the second one was a thin one with a silver butterfly on it.
