The atmosphere in the club had become so tense, no one was talking, they were just taking glaces to each others "So back to what I was saying" Jake started breaking the silence "She was fighting with Yeonjun for the loser in our class" he continued "Wait... no way. Is it tge Bom something guy?" Giselle asked invested in the conversation. Jake nodded making everyone gasp "I thought he left the school" "I thought he was dead"
Heeseung snapped his fingers calling his friends attention "Jake isn't done talking yet" "Thank you. I heard that he just want to graduate here and leave" They all nodded, each of them thinking about what to do with that info "Then lets just leave him alone" Heeseung said closing his book going to lie down on the couch leaving Karina to her books
"Ok then I'll tell Soobin to find someone else to bully and leave Bomsu alone" Jay informed then taking off his phone from his pocket, starting to text Soobin
"Can't you just tell him to study with his gang instead of ruin poor people life?" Karina asked lifting her head from her book for the first time "..." Silence again. Everyone in the room turned to the oldest in sync trying to figure out if she was joking or not.
"Nah" Jay simply replied
"Ok enough talking about bullies and plebeians"
Ningning said trying to change the topic "How about we go skating?" Asked the redhead with a big smile that reached all the way up to her ears. With that one question the youngest had changed the mood in that room "I'm in!" Sunghoon quickly agreed raising his hand "Me too!" Jake said turning to Winter who was shaking her head, Jake curved his lips into a little pout making puppy eyes and this made Winter shake her head even more vigorously as she tried not to laugh from the Aussy boy's face "Oh come on..." he whispered trying to convince her "Ok ok" she finally gave up, then everyone accepted
"Do you think we should invite Ni-ki?" Jake asked getting everyone attention, Sunghoon shook his head, saying that the Japanese boy wasn't officially part of the group yet. "I think we should instead" Heeseung intervened surprising everyone present, he used not to accept any new member in the club since according to him, only people who had literally grown up together like them should be part of it.
Giselle went to check with her tablet what Ni-ki was doing at that moment according to the boy's school schedule "He's having class" she said looking at her friends "So what?" Jay asked taking his feet off the table "We can go get him and tell the professor to put him in attendance, Ni-ki doesn't care about school that much anyway" he replied with nonchalance starting to play with the darts. Everyone agreed at the blond guy statement "Yeah but we have be careful too" Sunghoon started, putting his leg on top of the other "What if our parents come to surprise us at school like the last time?" The Ice prince continued. The day their parents arrived to surprise them, everyone in the club was doing everything but studying "Ah don't remind me, after that time I couldn't walk for two weeks" the youngest said remembering the pain she felt "Don't talk like you were alone, we all got beat up together" mumbled Jay "Yes and your face was worthy being beat up" Giselle added starting to laugh "Don't talk, you were crying like Ningning" Jake said defending his bestie "My ears were bleeding by your screams too mister Shim" Winter shut up Jake's mouth
They were all laughing as they reminisced about a moment that would have been traumatic for others, when they heard the sound of a car through the open window to their right. They all turned their heads and stopped laughing automatically.
I'm not going to look first... What if we jinxed it again? And if I act dead then what? Aw hell no, I'm too fine today to get beat
They were all worried but no one wanted to do the first move, then again another sound made Jake fly from where he was sitting to the window followed by his friends. Everyone was running to the window like there was no tomorrow only to find out that it was just their English teacher cheating on her husband with the history teacher again. They let go a sigh of relief as they let themselves fall to the ground before bursting into laughter as they looked and pointed at each other.
