what makes a letter a love letter?
a heart wax seal?
a "xoxo" signoff?
perhaps an "i love you"
the letter, i wrote for you,
it was more than love.
it was like a claim,
you're mine,
maybe you didn't agree.
is that why you didn't
show up?
don't you like pasteries?
there's plenty here,
i brought all your favourites.
even the field im sitting in
you love daisies don't you?
why can't you love me too?
